Seawhite Black Cloth Hardback Sketchbook A4 Portrait

After trying some of the cheaper options available on here its great to finally get a sketchbook that's fit for purpose. I would highly recommend this sketchbook to anyone.The cover is sturdy and has a nice textured feel.The pages are thick enough to cope with everything that I need (mostly pen and pencil sketch work). There is some bleed through on to the reverse from marker pens but this is to be expected and a single sheet of A4 behind the page solves this issue.Lovely quality and I'll be ordering one again when this one is full.

And by standard - I mean they set the standard! I used to use Daler but the paper isn't white and not a pleasure to write and draw into. I use mine as notebooks for which they are perfect - they are great fro sticking things into with a sturdy spine that keeps everything held together nicely. Great to know that they based in the UK too and I can support a brilliant local company.

this is my go to sketchbook. thick paper enough to hold acrylic, gouache, oils (prime w gesso first), watercolour. has a lil envelope at the back. love this sketchbook. ive bought this like three times and always come back to it

Seawhite is my favourite brand of notebooks for art, the pages are high quality and the Ink never bleads through to the other pages The outside is strong which is good if you carry it around in a bag It feels like a high-quality product and the price is very reasonable compared to other brands.

Excellent quality books, I use these very frequently for writing or drawing. The paper is nice and thick, you can't see ink from one side onto the other, it's capable of being used for pens, pencils, charcoal etc, possibly acrylic paints, but it's not water-tolerable, and as such water will ruin the paper. The covers are thick hardcover that you'd expect to see on a typical book.

Lovely bright pages, stands up to use with watercolour with only mild buckling, securely bound pages with sleek cover that's hard enough to survive all the times I drop my bag with it inside without any damage to the corners- looking forward to filling the rest of this!included images for question asker about how this holds up to markers.

Awful paper buckles like mad at the slightest bit of water

Would’ve been the perfect sketch book but as soon as there’s any more than the tiniest bit of water with the water colour, the paper starts disintegrating.Not suitable for watercolour.
