The Twilight Saga: The Complete Collection [Blu-ray]

I saw twilight I on a recommendation from my sister, at the cinema, in 2008 & I was hooked from the get go.I Was very impressed with the film and it reminded me of when I was 1/2 my current age in love with a girl similar in my eyes to Kristen Stewart. If you have ever been in love, these films are bound to get you involved. Almost 5 years later I have seen all the films, owned and sold the basic DVD's and settled on the final COMPLETE SAGA in BLURAY.So it's no stretch to guess that I am a fan.THE BLURAYSThis complete collection not only has the breaking dawn I extended (wow, 3 minutes more) BUTThe extras are STUNNING. I was moved with the really detailed documentary on BREAKING DAWN pt II, it's closing and genuine farewell to the fans, the comic con footage and the little feature vignettes with ALL the actors. No expense seems to have been spared on this effort and it shows.Sound, colour and visuals are all top notch in the films and most of the extras. LOTS OF EXTRAS. (*The Ace in the hole*)The premiere UK footage is not just a 3 minute package by the way, but goes into the whole experience with cool remarks from almost all the participants. Even Pattinson appears humble, remarking that TWILIGHT has given him a career. Most of his interview stuff He seems over it and ambivalent, but glimpses of genuine humility cannot be ignored. Water for Elephants was very good also. I promised myself I would not blather on with this review.... SO.It was Kristen Stewart that attracted me to the first film and everything else in between that kept me til the last one. Seeing the wolves in close up in Eclipse and later on in the series made me actually snarl in the cinema !!I believe the price has just gone up on this box set since I bought mine in 11 March 2012, but it's worth the cash for a lasting keepsake of this quality.

You know if you like Twilight or not. If you're looking to spend £30+ on a box-set, you know what the films are like and about.DesignThe design of the box is okay. It's a bit girly, but to be fair, so are the films. The cover pictures are again, a bit girly, and again, so are the films.The box-set (like all modern box-sets)is highly plastic. It does feel fairly sturdy, but if you break one of the clips holding the disc in place, you're going to have a bad time. The films are fairly well laid out, and It's certainly one of the better box-sets I've seen in recent times. But beware, keep them out the way of children and pets. Otherwise you're doomed.The FilmsI'm not going to review each films. Everyone knows what Twilight is about. The Bluray on the films are awesome. The colour is fantastic and so is the sound quality. This set also includes the eight minute "extended" version of Breaking Dawn Part 1. Which does add some good moments to the original version.In short, okay design of the box. Fairly sturdy, but should be treated with respect or it will break.The extrasIf you're wondering about the extras from the past films, they're all there. Every extra (that I know of) is in each version of the film. So you won't be thinking "ah, why have they not including all the new moon extras?". They have. And there are plenty of Breaking Dawn part 2 extras as well.-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------Twilight is like Marmite. You either like it or you don't. This box-set is a win/win for all. Twilight haters will never have to go through another cinema release, and lovers have this box-set. Case closed. Done deal.

Movie is fantastic with great cast performing at their best making this an A grade plus show. From beginning to end, it has it's ups and downs and yet full on entertainment keeping you glued to the screen not wanting to miss a thing. Story line is great putting it together makes this a one of a kind. Story goes that a young girl has two interesting friends one a werewolf plus the other a vampire. Growing up and having two great mates but she must decide who she wants knowing that it will hurt the other ones feeling, as both love her, She has other people around her when she decides and when they marry the problems really begins with so much carrying on, it seems helpless there at one stage, but things can change and that makes this different and full of unexpected twist and turns, have I your interest as no more now as not to spoil it for you. So carry on and collect the movies for a weekend at home. Now get the popcorn put your feet up and relax to a collection of a fabulous movie worth owning. Enjoy!

If you are as big of fan of Twilight as I am I suggest you get this now! Their is no way to describe this than utter perfection. The build quality of the boxset is great the new art work inside is stunning and thank god they didn't use the original pictures on the discs but they actually went out of there way to make a masterpiece without cutting corners like other big film companies. I am happy to say that the blu-ray video and audio quality are also good. The price is well worth it with all films in blu-ray and the largest selection of special features so far. On top of that there's the brand new extended edition for those who can't get enough of Twilight and want more. I would recommend this for any Twilight fan as it is easily the most epic teen franchise out there. If I haven't persuaded you enough just take a chance with your hard earned pennies and i promise you will not be dissapointed.

Très beau coffret!La boite : très beau boisLe livre intérieur contenant les dvd / blu rays : vraiment belle finition, chaque détail a été travailléLe pendentif : gadget, mais le coffret n'a pas été pris pour çaPour conclure, j'ai bien fait d'attendre un vrai coffret pour l'offrir à ma femme. Les autres n'étant que des coffrets simples en carton réunissant tous les films. Celui là fait vraiment office de cadeau, c'est un coffret digne de ce nom!

Estoy encantada con este auto regalo. Llevaba mucho tiempo esperando encontrar todos los blu ray de crepúsculo juntos, y con sus extras. Vienen presentados de una forma maravillosa, dentro de un álbum, muy cuidado y presentación perfecta, con una preciosa serigrafía , y con fotos a doble página de todas las películas que forman esta increíble saga. Los blue ray están metidos entre las páginas, son muy fáciles de sacar, no hay peligro de que se rayen ni tengan pequeñas roturas en la parte central, ya que vienen dentro de las páginas, entre éllas, pero sin sujetar por el centro, así que se pueden sacar sin ningún problema o temor a que se dañen, recalco ésto porque viendo opiniones en internet, avisaban de que se podían dañar los blue ray, desde luego en la versión española no pasa en absoluto.El album viene dentro de una funda robusta con 2 portadas distintas, por un lado Bella y Edward, y por el otro Jacob, así no te tienes que preocupar en elegir cuál de las 2 te gusta más. Lo único que pienso que he de avisar es que el album con la funda puesto queda en vertical, apoyado en su lomo, y la funda se saca por arriba, sólo tenedlo en cuenta para que en un despiste no se caiga.En la edición inglesa esta saga trae 10 blue ray, mientras que la española, trae 9. No sé exactamente en qué difiere, sí he visto que en la inglesa la película amanecer parte I trae 2 blue ray, mientras que ésta trae 1, así que no sé si todos los extras de ese segundo blue ray están dentro de 1 aquí o no, tampoco me ha defraudado, ya que tenemos por delante más de 4 horas de extras inéditos, perfectamente subtitulados al castellano.La calidad de imagen de los blue ray es superior, sólo he tenido tiempo de ver la primera película, y estoy deseando que venga el fin de semana para ver mucho más ^^.No ocupa demasiado en el armario, menos que 3 cajas de dvd, y además es precioso, de precio está muy bien, que más se puede pedir?Si queréis hacer un buen regalo a quien sepáis que le ha gustado crepúsculo, este pack está genial. Endlich kann auch ich die komplette Twilight-Saga auf Blu-ray mein Eigen nennen. Auf DVD habe ich sie natürlich schon komplett (immer zum jeweiligen Release gekauft). Ich habe mich damals immer noch für die Fan Editions auf DVD entschieden, weil mir die Aufmachung mit Pappschuber, der ausklappbaren Papphülle und Zugaben wie Fotokarten oder Stickern deutlich besser gefiel.In Deutschland mussten wir ja nun deutlich länger auf so eine Komplettbox warten wie beispielsweise in UK, aber letztendlich haben auch wir eine Sammlung bekommen. Darüber freue ich mich sehr. Was ich mir als echter Fan jedoch trotzdem noch gewünscht hätte bzw. es weiterhin für die Zukunft herbeisehne, ist eine Komplettbox als Collector's Edition mit Beigaben wie Replika (z.B. Bellas Verlobungsring oder das Armband, welches Jacob ihr zum Schulabschluss schenkt). Außerdem würde ich gerne ein Fotoalbum wie es in der amerikanischen Version der Fall ist in einer solchen Box sehen. Hier hat man jetzt zwar eine komplette Sammlung mit allen Filmen und viel Bonusmaterial, aber mir als Sammlerin fehlt eben noch das ganz Besondere daran. ;-)Trotzdem ist die Freude über den Release dieser Box groß und jetzt kann auch ich endlich diese wahnsinns Filme in Blu-ray Qualität genießen. Wieder und wieder und wieder... :-) Zudem freue ich mich sehr auf das neue Bonusmaterial, welches mich bei dem ungemütlichen November-Wetter gut beschäftigen wird.Die Aufmachung dieser Edition finde ich als kritische Film-Sammlerin wirklich gelungen! Das große, hässliche FSK-Logo ist im Handumdrehen leicht entfernt. Dass es gleich zwei Pappschuber, in unterschiedlicher Qualität gibt, hätte zwar anders gelöst werden können. Fakt hingegen ist jedenfalls dass dadurch die Blu-rays in keinem Fall aus dem Schuber fallen können und daher finde ich das letztendlich eine doch nicht so sinnlose Sache. Der äußere, schwächere Schuber dient mehr der Ansehnlichkeit als Stabilität, aber solange man normal damit umgeht, passiert dem auch nichts. Eine hübsche Prägung und Glanz erwarten einen hier. Dieser lässt sich nach oben oder unten abziehen. Darunter findet man den zweiten, sehr viel stabileren dicken Pappschuber. Dieser ist optisch schlichter gestaltet als der äußere. Hier kann man dann seitlich die aufklappbare Pappaufbewahrung herausnehmen, welche die einzelnen Blu-rays enthält. Die 6 Scheiben befinden sich jeweils in einer Plastikhalterung wie sie in jeder Amaray Blu-ray Hülle zu finden sind. Manch einer hätte hier die eher grausigen Papplaschen erwarten können, aus denen man die Blu-rays nach oben herausziehen muss und somit Kratzer riskieren würde. Das wurde hier gut gelöst. Hinter jeder Disc befindet sich übrigens eine ganz kurze Zusammenfassung der jeweiligen Filmhandlung.Ein Booklet findet sich hier leider nicht. Wer die einzelnen Fan-Editions besitzt, hat ja aber zu jedem Film eines und kann diese als Ergänzung sehen. Auch wenn das nicht der Sinn der Sache ist, aber naja. Lediglich ein Flyer mit einem Gewinnspiel ist enthalten, bei dem man unter anderem diese Box gewinnen kann. Wer sich das ausgedacht hat, hatte wohl nicht ausgeschlafen... :-DPreislich finde ich diese Blu-ray Box mit 35,99 Euro fair angesiedelt. Mich wundert nur, dass die DVD Variante bis zum Release den gleichen Preis hatte und jetzt sogar 39,99 Euro kostet. Komisch, aber mir solls egal sein, da ich eh nur noch Blu-rays kaufe.Ich empfehle jeder/jedem den Kauf, die/der noch nicht alle Filme komplett beisammen hat oder jetzt von DVD auf Blu-ray umsatteln möchte. Der perfekte Zeitpunkt zum Umstieg ist hiermit gekommen.Eine hübsche Box mit dem kompletten Bonus-Material, welches auf den Fan-Editions vorhanden war, dazu gibt es neue Bonusfeatures und das sogar in sehr ansehnlichem Umfang. Trotzdem würde ich erneut Geld für die Twilight-Saga ausgeben, wenn eine "Mega"-Box herauskommen würde, welche einige schöne Stücke für das Sammlerherz bereithält.Das Schlusswort sei hier dem heiß diskutierten Thema "Extended Version von Breaking Dawn Teil 1: Ja oder nein?" gewidmet: JA, die Extended Version von 4.1 ist HIER ENTHALTEN! Von 4.2 gibt es keine (und gab es auch noch nie).Ich habe hier auch 3 Kundenbilder der Box hochgeladen, also wer mal schauen möchte...
