Quite well built
This was a bargain compared to the name brands. Nice and short, may need some added support on the installation if into plasterboard.

Well made, spindle too short
It looks and feels like a good quality item but with the thread only being about an inch long you don't have enough length to get through 1930s batons and lime plaster. Might be good for new builds but not so good for old ceilings.

Did the job, quite nice
Pretty good, though would be nice if the instructions showed the wall/ceiling relative to the lock nuts, in the cross-section diagram.

Shower arm
This is very short compared to normal ceiling arms. Keeps shower head nearer ceiling for that true rainfall effect.
