This is a cute & compact lamp. I needed to find replacement lamps for my mantle and needed to make they weren't to big, that looking at them from below wouldn't show too much of the light bulb and switch, and that they were bright enough to give a little bit of light. These are perfect for my needs.The cord is black & lay nicely it does not stick out like a sore thumb where I put them. The switch is on the cord, about 1/3 the way down from the lamp. I love how open the base is & could even have small items placed under it for decoration. Overall I love how they blend in with the other items up there & look like they were made for this spot. Im super happy with this purchase. I love them! Nice update to my livingroom.For reference:They are about as tall as 1&1/2 2liter soda bottles, and with the shade about 2 times the width of one. (In my photo, I need to hang the last picture in between them to cover the plug in so it's not all put back together)

I was seriously impressed with this cute little light for the price. Color looks classy and not cheap or brassy. A bit of a rose gold and not super yellow. I needed it for an antique cabinet shelf so size was perfect. BUT, I also needed the light for the room and this provides ample brightness.

This is a great match for my mid century modern decor - I thought it was a good price considering Target/HomeGoods have lamps for the same price, but are generic looking. This lamp has character and looks expensive.

I ordered two lamps for my bedroom side tables, they both were marked $5 less due to already being opened but still being new. With that said the first one arrived in perfect condition, the second lamp arrived 2 days later in not the best condition. The second one: the lamp shade and lamp were squished into this box that was so dented and torn up. The lamp shade was bent to the point of an oval when it is supposed to be round. The bronze lamp stand was covered in an orange crusty stain and had several scratches. I debated on returning it but I was only offered a refund rather than a replacement item... I was eventually able to bend the lamp shade into a more circular shape after 30 minutes and I figured it is more effort to send it back for the cost and quality.

The little lamp is neat. The inline switch seems quality and it seems like it is made to last. The problem is it's not gold. Gold or satin brass has a yellowish look. This lamp is closer to copper tone, rose gold wash I would be okay with it being labeled. I put it next to it's replacement gold lamp (also on Amazon) to show the difference in color. The lighting is 2700k, the difference is even more obvious during the day.

Very simple little lamp that's just right in my TV room where I don't want a lot of light, but need just this much.

I purchased this lamp to give my entryway table an updated look. I like the clean lines which allows you to accessorize in many different ways. I also like the quality of this lamp. Please note the gold is a bit more on the rose gold side. I am very happy with my purchase.
