This is the most amazing thing I have ever bought off Amazon! I had an algal bloom for WEEKS that no amount of water changes or algae treatment would fix and it was awful to look at. I was embarrassed to have people in my house it looked that bad! Then I bought this and 4 days later, my tank looks clear. I have put 4 photos with the day's numbered so you can see this amazing, mind blowing, life changing transformation! I'm so happy I can enjoy my tank again! Side note - I have a Jewel 350 with an enclosed filter so I took out the heater and popped the UV light into its place. You can't expose your fish to the UV light. If you have green water, this will get rid of it. Can't recommend enough!

Yes, I can understand why people get mad after it breaks. The UV light is not really suppose to stay on all day. You burn it out too quickly. You are only suppose to have it on for 2 hours or so to clear it. Usually pumps with a uv fitted have a timer to turn it on and off. I have a solution to this to make it last from 2 months to possibly a year or 2. Get a smart plug. Set it to turn on every week for 2 hours and then turn off and repeat the same process. This may help you.

Bought this in October, by end of January its burned out and no longer works, not good value for money

Ich hatte eine extreme Bakterienblüte in meinem Meerwassercube. Nachdem ich den UVC-Klärer eine Woche in der Filterkammer hatte, war mein Wasser wieder klar und konnte meine Korallen wieder sehen.
