Not th cheapest but good quality
I love Anthon Berg marzipan. It's not the cheapest you can buy but it's excellent quality. Most commercial marzipan contains 30% or less almonds but Anthon Berg's is more like 50%. Well worth paying the extra for.

Beware the description wording
The description of these bars was 125 grams but it is actually for a total package weight if I had thought that I would have bought the brand I knew. The Marzipan itself was nice enough but I have only given three stars due to the deceptive description. You need to do better with this.

check the sell by date
This item which I received yesterday is 9 months past the use by date and is therefore inedible. The date is use by 21/7/23. I would like my money back.

Never Again !
This looks like old stock but the label stuck on back of 5Pk says 20.12.22. The description says Colour 'Milk' however they're Dark Chocolate, not why I purchased them. What taste there is, isn't tasty, it's as bad as they look, it''s not a smooth Almond Marzipan taste, actually there's not much taste. It's very bitty and crumbly, the chocolate is awful. I've tried from the Pkt so far and they both looked and tasted the same. I suppose they'd be good value if they were in good condition and were decent quality/taste. They're not particularly big, but looking at prices of similar products they're all in the same price range. You can't seem to get Milk Chocolate covered Marzipan easily so I'd been looking forward to them but everything went downhill once opened and tasted. NEVER AGAIN. AWFUL.
