Great drill bits.The added cobalt makes these wayyyy better than standard tialn coated HSS. They don't seem any more brittle, just stronger.All straight,All well sharpened,Still sharp and not had a chip yet after several days of beating, cheap HSS bits definitely would have chipped the way I've abused these!The box isn't too bad either - quite handy to have them organised even though in my case they end up in a pile anyway after a few days of use anyway!

Good quality drills with a proper hard wearing finish, been using them for a while now and still nice and sharp despite some use on stainless and alloy steels and drilling out grubscrews. Not very cheap, but worth it in my opinion. In a proper metal box too, no plastic here.

I am a metal worker and the drill bits good quality for money and last alot longer than others also will buy some more different sizes drill bits Very happy 😊

I've not used these in anger yet, as I have reserved this set for more difficult drilling situations. I use a DeWalt HSS set for general metalwork and will use these for stainless steel. If you use a blunt HSS drill bit on S/S, the heat generated will harden the metal even more, to the point that it is impossible to drill. This set seems to be very good value, supplied in a robust case. I chose this set having watched the YouTube toolshop tests carried out with Metabo cobalt bits; very impressive.

These are the best drill bits I have used. I had a broken locking wheel nut and had to drill the stud out to remove the wheel. These drill bits are sharp out of the box and kept cutting despite hitting the hardened threads of the lockable nut as I got near to the largest hole size. I have a set of HSS drill bits from a reputable manufacturer and they lost their edge in seconds. I have used Cobalt drills before (I used to be a mechanic) but these are better than the previous ones.

Not that I've owned a lot of drill bits in the past but these are the best I've ever used by far.I bought them to drill out hardened steel bolts and they chewed through them easily, even though I was using a cheap cordless drill and just some engine oil as lube.The only issue I has with them is that they are too good; they would bite in to metal so well that they would spin inside my drill chuck, but that's down to me using a poor quality drill.would highly recommend.

Unbelievable quality and MADE IN GERMANY!! All other bit sets from top drill manufacturers are made in CHINA and snap and break! THANK YOU Metabo for having pride in your product and for not selling out quality for profit.

Have had this kit for three years and they are very sharp still.Have a Bosch drill set of simlar size too, and the difference is HUGE. The Bosh kit has worn out and the drills there aren't even drilling the right sized holes any more, whilst the Metabo kit is still doing holes to the spec very nicely.

Después de unos meses de uso para acero y acero inoxidable aguantan bastante bien el afilado. Para mi no es un problema, 20 segunditos de esmeril y vuelven a estar nuevas. Metabo es sinónimo de calidad y sorprendentemente en este artículo a mejor precio que marcas con menos renombre.

Bra borrar , jag kunde borra ur 10 mm tjocka bult som bulthuvet var borta så jag kunde byta oket på min bil!så länge man ser till att köra lugnt och inte stressa borren för mycket , se till att den kyls med wd 40 eller borrolja, dessa borrar kommer i en skaplig plåtlåda och känns stabila och är stabila eftersom jag nu fått ur bultarna! en borr gick dock sönder 5 mm men det var mer mitt eget fel för att jag gick på för hårt i början, man ska börja med mindre borr och sedan jobba upp sig till hålet blir större.
