Perfect for Elgato capture cards
Gave my friend an Elgato and it wouldn't work with the older USB cable, so I got him one of these. Worked like a charm.

Confirm able to be used with the Elgato H60S+
Worked like a charm, I had lost the USB C that came in box but this is long enough and works! Tried other brands and they don't carry the signal

Doesn't help with my Error.
I bought this just to give it a shot with my apparently discontinued HD60 s from Elgato. Still get the same message saying it needs to be connected to a 3.0 USB to function properly. And I did it with all my USB slots that are 3.0. Clearly there's something wrong with Elgato's products now. Or just my computer, have been looking for solutions, tried almost everything but nothing works.
