Good idea poorly executed
-The butt has 3 pre drilled holes at the bottom, one at the facia within a dedicated / designed space and two at the sides. All three holes have brass thread but there is no inlet holes at the top and you require a large drill bit to drill it yourself.- The package is supplied with two flimsy plastic plugs for the two side holes. These types of plugs are normally supplied as a temporary measure to protect the threads. I was foolish enough to use them and one failed as soon as the butt was nearly full. You would be wise to buy 2no ¾ inch brass plugs and use them instead.- My biggest concern is the way a nearly full butt was pushed away from the wall behind due to pressure of water. It appears that the rear wall / body of the butt is not strong enough to withstand the water pressure and as soon as the butt fills up it bulges out pushing the butt away from the wall and almost away from bottom brackets that is supporting it. I failed to take pictures of this bulge as I panicked and tried to empty the butt before top screw shearing the plastic under the weight. I have replaced the plugs and considering introducing a strap to the middle groove, screwing it to the wall. Alternative is to dismount and return

Water in abundance
This is a terrific product, it is well made and very easy to install.I did have a conventional free standing slim line 100L (green) water butt in the same location, and although it was o.k.it was a bit of an eyesore, and did not have enough capacity.Water butt manufacturers seem to think that green (which seems to be the most popular colour) blends into it's surroundings. I have not encountered anything in nature of the same shade of green as my old water butt. The wall mounted (matt black) butt, is less obtrusive, holds 170L , and although taller is slimmer.I would recommend this product to anyone. One word of caution, be very careful when screwing the three bolts into the wall at the top of the butt. I had fixed two of them, and had almost finished the third when I dropped my spanner into the butt. It was a bit of a fiddle to retrieve it, but provided a lot of amusement to my wife observing my antics getting the spanner back.

Slim, wall mounted water butt
Purchased this a couple of years ago when I decided to harvest some of the rainfall from the front part of the property. Not too large and the method of fixing against the wall allows for plants to grow below the butt. Agood purchase.

Much better than the standard water butt
I wanted a water butt that was discreet and yet held a decent amount of water. This is perfect and easy to put up. I might be on the pricey side but considering the fact that our new water meter is saving us about £400-£500 pounds a year it is a good buy and so much more visually pleasing than the standard water butt.

a query
I can find no answer to this in the product information - but what happens if you're not there and it fills up completely? Water spilling everywhere out of the top?? The stars are provisional until I discover how manageable this will be!

Neat solution
Seems to do what it says in tin and certainly tidied up a corner. Only issue was getting the overflow level right during installation so needs reasonable level of DIY skill if doing it youself
