Speck 79983-5636 Hard case Presidio

I do like this case. Despite being a one piece case, it's similar to a two parter, with a soft rubber interior and accents, and a hard plastic shell in one convenient package. It's solid, it goes onto the phone reassuringly well (And comes off without too much palaver), and it's nicely designed. It does add a bit of bulk to the iPhone 7 Plus, but I do believe that if you want protection, you need to put up with the addition of bulk. As pretty as the thin cases are, they just don't offer the same sort of protection that you'd get from something like this. While I've not gone out of my way to test it, I think it would withstand a fall from a decent height onto a hard surface. Most likely the hard shell would scuff, but the phone would survive. The raised lip around the screen should stop any nasty screen damage.The only thing which I don't like is that the lighter pink colour rubber, which makes up the rim of the case and its lip, its buttons and the details on the corner, seems to attract dirt and discolour. Mine has only been on the phone for three days, and as I hope you can see from my photo, it's already discoloured after I put it into my jeans pocket. It looks dirty now, which I don't like, particularly when I've spent a not-insignificant amount of money on this case. There are cheaper ones out there, after all.Overall, it's a nice case. It offers good protection, but the lighter coloured rubber will look dirty very quickly.

previously ordered a tech 21 case but realised that they were just too slippery in the hand. came across the speck case via a random Google search so decided to pick one up after reading some positive comments- and WOW : this case is outta this world. the ridged grip is just stellar,feels like the phone is glued to your hand so no need to fork out on a screen protector. the build of this case quite literally awesome : very sturdy and you can literally feel the shock absorbent mesh material by simply grazing your finger over the case, all the ports and volume button in perfect position with first class functionality. this is an exemplary case that all other manufacturers should aim to follow. - a must buy for pixel xl owners

Top quality protection and worth the extra cost. Only had this a week so cannot verify the impact resistance however I had a similar Speck case for my previous phone (Nexus 6P) and it protected it from a 7 foot drop off a shelf onto tiled floor with zero resulting damage.

Had it over a year, very tough, good grip but will still slide into your pocket. No wear or tear so far.

Speck is one of the best brands in cases for cellphones. It is not the first one I buy, but I recommend its quality and specially because it does protect your iphone.

Love the colour and the feel of the grip! My phone has only suffered minor falls but it is intact
