Terrific purchase - hero coat!
I was looking for something to take to the Hampton Court Flower Festival, on the basis that the forecast was unfortunately for rain. Abandonning thoughts of floaty dresses, I went hopefully but dressed in trousers and boots instead and with the raincoat in my bag. It wasn't long before I had to get it out and try it out - and it did beautifully. The popper fasteners at first seemed to be not going to work, but I was pressing too hard. I'm 5 ft 4 and the coat was a great coverall - the hood let me see where I was going but kept me dry. It didn't cover my eyes or keep blowing off, a problem I've had with other hoods. The sleeves were long but not annoyingly so, and the coat kept me and most of my legs perfectly dry in the persistent rain. Marvellously, there was room to carry my bag, draped over my shoulder, inside the coat, so it stayed dry too. But the true heroism of the coat came in when we ended up having to walk 4 miles in the pouring rain back to the hotel due to a shortage of available public transport. I did not get too hot, and I stayed much drier than my companions who were wearing ordinary and shorter raincoats, whose legs got soaked, and the rain seeped through on their shoulders. On another day, I loaned the second coat from the pack to my friend, who is 5 ft 9, and it did her very well too. She too thought the poppers were not going to fasten but also found that they did, if treated more gently. And they stayed shut. Great buy. Great thing to have handy for future events where it might conceivably be a nice outing but with the potential for rain to appear and drench you.

Great waterproof full body cover
I purchased a two-pack of these raincoats for a friend and myself, in anticipation of a very wet day at the Fairy Festival in the New Forest. And yes, it poured down all day! However, we were kept dry with our long raincoats. Plus points: fully waterproof, long enough to protect legs as well, roomy but not ridiculously so, matt white colour rather than see-through. To put it into context, I am 5 foot 4 and a size 12. I suppose that someone much taller and bigger would obviously not enjoy the same degree of cover. I chose them because they are proper raincoats rather than ponchos so they fit better and offer greater rain protection, especially on the armsSome reviewers have remarked that the hood is rather 'pointy'; that is true but because we were attending a Fairy Festival, I received compliments about my pixie hood!My friend who enjoys adventure holidays likes this coat so much that she intends to take it on her next rainforest holiday. These raincoat fold down nicely but it would have been a nice touch to include a pouch for storage. Not a major problem, though, and I guess we could always purchase a pouch separately. All in all, an excellent purchase; excellent value for money and thoroughly recommended.

Really good and very comfortable.
We were at CarFest and suddenly a heavy shower came down. I had one of these in my bag and quickly put it on. It's plastic, but quite soft, not crinkly or stiff.I was surprised how comfortable it was and a good length so did the job well!

Did the job
These were bought just in case it rained at a concert and it did. I was extremely grateful to have them and at the price did a good job of keeping us mostly dry. That said the hood could be bigger and i could have done with it longer to cover knees as sat down (im 5ft10). For the price a great emergency raincoat. And both can be worn again as string enough for multiple use

Does What it Says on the Box!
Completely waterproof and fits nicely over a coat. Bought this to go under the falls at Niagara - I was certainly dryer than those who relied on the free ponchos! There is no pouch with this product, but I keep it in a ziplock food bag, which does just as well. The only other thing to consider is that there are no pockets, but this is a minor thing, as I always have a pocket in my coat or clothing under the mac. Thank you

Brilliant Festival rain shelter
Great product. Simple, lightweight - comes as a flat sheet about the size of an A4 pad which is great for fitting in your bag. Holds off water a charm, although if you get warm its not very breathable so try not to let too much sweat build up under it. Mine got a couple holes torn in it in a moshpit but, I think it held out pretty well considering what it was going through - the holes were small, you could see the material had been stretched quite a bit before they formed - and the good news is Tape will stick to this easily, so you can patch it up in the field!I will be coming with me to my next festival as well, and maybe the next. If it gets too tattered, I'd happily buy another one - it's a bargain compared to many others on this site.
