Read if your buying for work
Been wearing these for a few months every day and here is what I think.Pros:Look nice, fit nice, have proper compliance rating for work cites where steal toe is required.Cons:The heel is thin with very little padding, these will 100% give you a blister until your heel builds a callus. The steel toe is not padded well inside, so when you bump your toes against something, your big toe slams the steel and hurts pretty bad. Due to the lack of padding inside on the steel also digs into the top of your foot when you squat/kneel down and bend your foot, so deffinitly not recommend for someone who does alot or kneeling/squating at work.Overall thought. These are good looking shoes and fit well. But people dont buy steel toe to be stylish, they buy them for work. If your someone who just has to wear steel toe at work because its required and u arent on your feet alot then these are fine. But if you are someone like me who is on there feet ALOT climbing and kneeling then these are simple not a good option and id recommend another shoe.

Poor Customer Service!!!
I have used Timberland shoes for work and pleasure for years. When looking for shoes I check Timberland as a top choice. I was climbing around in the back of may pickup truck and had a small trip and noticed the soles of one of the shoes looked like it was coming off. I looked and there is a void in the support under the sole around the heel and up along the outside of the shoe. I had the shoes less than a year and the shoes have about 3 months off wear on them. The other shoe does not show the same defect and the soles show hardly any wear at all.I sent the shoes back to Timberland at a cost to me of about $20 for shipping. The shoes were returned with a form letter describing the defect as wear and tear not a defect. The soles barely show wear on either shoe and the other shoe does not show any void under the sole. The void is deep as shown in the first picture, those are nickles holding the sole open to show the void. I have gotten good service from the other Timberland shoes I have worn, but my first complaint about an obvious defect was dismissed by Timberland.Timberland will no longer be on the top of my list when looking for shoes. Beware their customer service.

Exactly what I needed
I work in various environments on a daily basis, and needed a shoe that can meet a few demands. I needed a metal toe for when I need to be on a construction site. I also needed it to be comfortable enough to stand and walk for 8 hours at a time. The shoe is flexible enough to bend completely without having the metal toe cap effect the bend or you're foot. I also needed the shoe to be easy to take off and on for days when I will be in and out of customers houses.Overall I'm happy with the shoe, at first was hesitant to purchase it through any other means than directly from Timberland but i'm happy with my purchase.Pro's: Metal Alloy Toe, COMFORTABLE, flexible, easy to slip on and off, strong, canvas covered for added toughness.Con's: Since it is a padded canvas shoe, you're feet don't breathe too well. Get ready to clear the house when you take these things off. No air holes mesh, all canvas.

(if they don't dis-continue them like everyone else) because they're lightweight
Wear them tight with two pairs of socks on the first day and after the opening starts to lose it's stiffness after rubbing against your ankle area all day long (could cause soreness) you can wear regularly without any discomfort. After a one day break in these shoe/boots will keep you buying these over and over again. (if they don't dis-continue them like everyone else) because they're lightweight, comfortable and solidly built. Did I mention how badass they look? Don't wear these if you're working outside on boot terrain. Wear them when you require a steel-toe (but don't need the heavy, high heeled franken-boots) within stylish, lightweight tennis shoes. If you're a welder like me and need the protection from the cherry sparks that can sink into your shoe -don't worry because the toe covering on the outside deflects any sparks and the tongue area lies under your pants far enough where it isn't an issue.

Not bad shoe for work
Ok for the most part these are great shoes... but i kinda have a problem with one of them, the right one. I ordered a Wide and from what i can tell they are Wides and they fit (for the most part) perfectly, the only issue i have is with the right shoe. i am not sure if its extra material or if its the toe cup or what but my pinky toe is being pressed by something in there and its only the right foot, if i put my hand in there i can feel a bump but like i said before im not sure if its the toe cup or just extra material. i have loosed the bottom lases and only tighten up the top and that kinda helps a little but not much.when i first got these they felt amazing! super comfy... but that lasted about a week, maybe two. after that first week or two my feet started to ache and hurt, like real bad. I do a lot of walking for my job just an FYI. when i first got them and wore them i thought o yea i dont need any inserts for these bad boys... well i was wrong, after adding the inserts my feet feel way better except for the right toe that mentioned before, that is still there and the insert is only for the heal so it stops mid way in.all in all they look great and for the most part fit well and feel ok. i liked my old cheap light weight composite toe work seekers but these look better and for the price i hope they last longer than my old ones (had them for about 2.5 years) they were more comfortable and half the price so we shall see.

These shoes DO NOT BREATHE
I've had 2 pairs of timberland pros before this pair. One was a pair of 8" boondocks and the others were the powertrains sport. Both were outstanding. These on the otherhand were a huge disappointment. They are not very comfortable. They are a bit stiff and they DO NOT BREATHE AT ALL. My feet were sweaty and soaked within 1 hr. They stank within the 1st 2 hrs and I change socks often. The other 2 pairs I had never had this problem. Very dissappointed and definitely sending these back!

Pesados

Good shoe for wide feet.
I was looking at shoes similar to Vans or a skateboard type shoe but it's hard to find ones for wide feet. These come in wide for full sizes, not the half sizes so you might have to order a half size up. Comfortable with the memory foam, kinda stiff, looks like canvas outer layer, not waterproof.

Don’t buy. Falling apart after 2 months and only wear for 25 hours a week.
For this name brand I expected better quality. Used less than 2 months and are already falling apart. His last pair lasted almost three years which we bought from Marks Work Warehouse. Stanley’s.
