Walker Edison Myron Modern 6-Drawer Solid Wood Dresser, Grey

We have been really happy with our purchase so far. The assembly was pretty simple. We did use a drill (very carefully) because it wouldn’t have been as sturdy had we just used a screwdriver. The drawers aren’t as sturdy as most pieces of furniture we have had before, but this dresser was also a fraction of the cost. We just make sure we shut the drawers carefully. I’m pleased with the look and would order this again!

I was excited about this product at first, but after spending a WHOLE DAY putting it together I am absolutely livid with it. Several issues came up during the construction:1. Holes for dowels are not aligned properly.2. Some screw taps are already too deep, not allowing the screw to hold the respective pieces flush with each other.3. The drawers ARE NOT WIDE ENOUGH to fit on the slide rails.4. The glue given to you is not enough and will dry out before you are finished. This is because it is effectively in a small plastic ketchup packet.5. They expect you to use a manual screw driver to place all screws. There are well over 50 of them.6. They do not provide a screw driver or hammer (yes there are nails) but they did provide a weird s shaped Allen wrench tool for the 4 screws that require it.7. It takes way too long to put this together. I understand the limitations with shipping such an item but the process for the customer can be greatly improved.I really wanted to give this item a chance but from the start it was problem after problem. By the time I assembled the first drawer and realized they weren't wide enough (or the slide rails weren't wide enough) I was already extremely frustrated. For being made of real wood (not that engineered wood) I expected much better quality. The tolerances they are using to account for manufacturing error are not enough.Not to mention I received this item 2 days late.

This is a very beautiful dresser and I'm so happy with the purchase! As other reviews mentioned, it does take about 3 hours to assemble. Took my hubby about that long by himself. Only 4 stars because when we got to the last drawer, they had sent us 2 of one piece when instead we needed one & one of another. this was a little disappointing after taking so much time to assemble and being so close to done! My hubby drilled holes and made it work but if he weren't to have done that the last drawer would not have been able to be assembled. Like I said though, well worth the money, its a beautiful color and feels sturdy so should serve our baby girl very well in her nursery!!

First make sure you have ample wood glue supply. The tiny little packet did not cover even 1/4 of the glue needs. And I was very conservative with it. Everything else was as described. I am 64 now but have in decades past put together a lot of furniture. But I cannot get on the floor any more. So the bed was my workshop.I laid every thing out. I studied each instruction to make sure to assemble the parts in the right orientation. I fould some of the slanted spots for screws were difficult for me but not impossible.It all went together well and feels strong and secure.I have ordered decorative knobs so these images do not have the knobs yet.This took me several sessions but I am happy with the purchase.

Time consuming putting together.Dowels stick out into inside of drawer.Drawer does not pull out as far as I’d like it to.Love that it’s not massive and works great in apt. I got the Walnut color and it’s beautiful.Smaller for apts, dorms, kids. Or those who are tired of massive furniture.

This dresser took FOREVER to put together. There was not enough glue and the overall project I’m disappointed with. The drawers don’t even align with one another and this wasn’t a user mistake, it is where the holes were pre-made. It is so hard to open and shut the drawers.

I ordered the the walnut espresso color. Looks and works awesome. The price was fair because it was on sale.Assembly was straight forward and had only the wood peg inserts that came weird but I had a lot left over so they just didn’t go into the final assembly.I bought wood glue because the glue it comes with is enough for the pegs but not the wooden legs. Plus I think my glue is better.No dings or damage on the product, I was surprised but I will probably damage it later since it’s wood but nothing like a little Elbow grease won’t fix. Solid 9/10 because nothing is perfect, but its pretty close.

Package was damaged when delivered.Once I began to assemble, I discovered that the pictures on Amazon don’t match the actual dresser.Pictures show metal drawer slides, but this has wooden drawer runners, which are inferior.I wanted to return it, but since it was flat packed (think IKEA), and the box was damaged, there was no way to put it back in the original box. Amazon told me to go buy boxes, pack it and have it ready for UPS. Too late.I emailed the seller, and got an automated reply saying that they had saying that they had a backlog of 7 - 10 days in responding to customer service emails.Finally, it took over 3.5 hours to assemble the dresser. All the parts are cheaply made, the wood is soft yellow pine, and dents or scratches if you look at it funny. The drawer bottoms at 1/4” fiberboard, not much sturdier than cardboard.I am sure that I could have bought a better quality dresser for less money at a local furniture store.Amazon shouldn’t let sellers misrepresent their products. Only if I had read more of the reviews before I purchased it, I might have known what to expect.I only review items that are truly great or truly terrible, this one is terrible.
