I have change my rating on this unit to a 5 because of the unsolicited response from LONG-RUN's customer service. They have offered to rectify my acrylic issue with a stainless steal unit even though I didn't request a change. I very appreciative of the offer. The acrylic fountain as designed must be installed on a highly filtered system I did not have a filter system on my fountain and any small debris catches on the water flow supports causing the water to split into several streams. If used on filtered system I'm sure the fountain would work with the same quality as the stainless units. The acrylic unit is very aesthetically pleasing with the light reflecting through the acrylic. Again usage will depend on your filter system. I also want to note that Amazon replaced the LED light as requested. I purchased LONG-RUN because I was disappointed with the plastic units I had used in the past. These units are far superior to those black PVC type of fountains. Overall I'm a pleased customer of LONG-RUN and I'm sure you will be with their excellent product and costumer service. I have purchased three LONGRUN Fountains with some success and failure. So, I’m both satisfied and disappointed. The first unit I purchased was the 12” stainless steel unit. It is shown in Video 2. Works great. I purchased the LED separately and it did not work. I check in before mounting to the waterfall. The company sent a replacement which has operated for over a month. The second waterfall I purchased was a 12” acrylic combination unit with the LED. This unit comes with the top enclosed and supported by small plastic supports creating a tube-like affect. I would not recommend this unit. If the water contains any particles the collect on these supports causing the water flow to separate. The only way it will work is to highly filter the water. I first tried to cut the supports using a saber saw. Some success but still created a water flow problem, I also installed a flow valve to help it properly function. Finally, out of frustration I took a grinder and removed the top acrylic exposing the fountain the same as the stainless units. Works great now as shown in video 3. Just purchase the stainless-steel units. The third water fall units is 24” and works fine as show in video 1 I purchased the LED separately and fail after a few days. Quickly replaced and is now working as expected. The fountains are a nice addition to my landscape, just stay away from the acrylic unit. I’m and old shop teacher so have tools to make anything work….Check other videos in additional posts

This Waterfall is amazing! we definitely love it. my husband and I so impress. and it is easy to install. If anyone out there looking for a waterfall I highly recommend this product. First we don't get the remote but the seller is easy to talk with. and they solve the little problem right away. now were enjoying the view of this falls. and were looking forward to purchase again after our koi pond done.

Love this product and gives you a little feeling of at the spa but at home with the lights effect as well.

We created a pond in our backyard for some Koi. Figured a couple waterfalls would be a great way in introducing oxygen into the water and if they come with LED lights, even better. Installed them and they worked amazing for a month or so. Then some of the LED’s of one waterfall went out. Then a few more and then the same thing with the other waterfall. The waterfalls themselves work great. A nice even flow of water that looks great. But if you are highly focused on the lights to add to the ambiance of your space, these may not be for you. ***UPDATE*** So Longrun Direct reached out to me to get a better sense of what was wrong with my waterfalls. After explaining to them the light issue they sent me replacement light strips. I didn’t request it, they just wanted to try and fix the issue. I’ll be installing them this weekend. Hopefully the original ones were just faulty, but I’m really happy with how they reached out to correct the issue.

Update: After writing review below, seller contacted me to send a replacement light bar. They asked for my address and phone number , saying they would send replacement. I gave it to them and received a message on September 18 that said “ok”. Today is October 13 and I have not heard from them again and have not received replacement. When I try to send a message they Amazon I get notice that I have already responded so no way to get update. Original review below may be amended soon if I can’t get replacement. We purchased this waterfall in April, 2022. It was one of two 24" waterfalls. The project was quite extensive and was only completed in September 2022. Along the way, the waterfalls were tested, inclucing the light bars. Two days after completion. Three of the red diodes in one of the light bars failed. Since the light bar uses red, green and blue alone or in combination to produce other colors, four other colors are affected. The only colors that can be used now are pure green and pure blue. Violet, yellow, light blue, white all have gaps. I was able to contact the company for a replacement and they said they would send one out. Additonally, there are two connections for the waterfall, one in the back and one on the bottom. We use the one in back to feed the water. The plug for the one in the bottom on one of the waterfalls will not seal. The hole in the plug looks like an allen wrench to tighten, but I have not been able to find an SAE or metric size to fit. Closest so far is a 7 mm, which has to be forced in. The waterfalls perform as expected with a smooth sheet of water dropping into the pool.

I purchased 3 different waterfalls to figure what the difference were and decide how to install it. This instructions on all 3 waterfalls are seriously lacking. Basically the purchase of the waterfall was determined by the price and the quality of the LED Bar. The light bar and price were middle of the road. If you don’t “need” the light bar you can probably find a similar unit for 1/2 the price. The LED was middle of the road. Not the brightest and not the dimmest. The inverter was smaller than some of the others so it will be easier to protect from the elements since it will fit in an outdoor receptical box. The controller is definitely the worst and you will need to rely on your phone to get more options. All 3 led bars fit in each other's slot so it will be nicer when the led needs to be replaced hopefully they are last a long time and don’t cost to much to replace but I don’t expect much. The construction and welding was comparable to the others and would give it a thumbs up. I like that this has two holes so I have an option of where I want to put the plumbing. A notch will probably have to be cut out so the cord comes out cleanly. (Photo included) The box came with the most plumbing parts of the 3 boxes. As with all the manufacturers, the fittings are garbage if you intend on having a problem free waterfall for a long time. I intend on using schedule 40 fittings for everything. On a side note, if you intend on embedding a waterfall make sure to get one with the longest tray lip. I am casting my shape into a newly poured wall out of foam. I can tear the foam out of the concrete after the wall has set. The lip is 4”. The water box is 3” then I have 2” -3” of concrete in front of the box. That leaves me with 1”-2” of a lip sticking out of the wall. I wish they had waterfalls with larger lips so the water can come out of the wall further. Basically most of these kits are meant to have hardy backer and tile in front of the waterfall.

This makes a nice sheet of water but the plastic plugs are terrible. They are prone to stripping and cross threading. The threads easily break. And the rubber gaskets are too small and squish out if too tight. If they would simply supply brass plugs with a good o-ring I'd change the rating. And it doesn't provide enough plugs either. It has 4 inputs and two plugs. I ended up using only one input and it provides good results. But I had to improvise the plug from my own parts. More than 1 input isn't necessary but could be useful to make a larger water wall so it should provide 3 plugs instead of 2.

The waterfall blade comes with all the accessories you will need and it also comes with an LED strip and remote control, how you fit the waterfall is entirely up to you but it MUST be 100% level otherwise the water wont flow evenly and it will look daft. Its definitely not the quickest thing to fit but thats the nature of the type of product, but once its up and running it looks great! For £122.99 at the time of reviewing I think its decent value for money.
