I'm a 6'2 athletic male with athletic legs. I want the tailored look, but if it's too slim, it won't get past my knee (Kenneth Cole). I also want a waist that fits (unlike all other brands). I don't want to buy 34x34 slim fit pants and take the huge waist down an inch or two so they fit alright. In short, I want tailored-like slim pants right off the rack that fit and look great. If anyone can actually make that for me, they get my money.....So boy was I surprised and happy to find these. They hug my athletic legs with a perfect amount of fabric left over, producing a flawless fit - no billowy mess, but also no skin-tight hipster look. In one word, they look TAILORED.What other reviews have not mentioned much is how COMFORTABLE these pants and the material is. It is extremely flexible, stretchy, and conforming when compared to other fabric on other such dress pants. The fabric adjusts with you when you stand, sit, run, do whatever it is you are doing around your office. No worrying about slippage in the back while sitting or anything else. Some of the most comfortable pants I have ever owned. And this is NOT at the expense of looks - they are extremely sharp and look far more expensive than they are.This is a quality product. Perry Ellis has never failed me. I am going to order three more pairs in various colors. Five huge, shining stars. Do order "a size up" for a perfect fit. I took the advice of other reviewers on this and it was perfect. I am a 33" waist and the 34 here was flawless.Go forth in off-the-rack tailored confidence, brethren.UPDATE 11/2015The Navy blue pants have shrunk to a considerable extent after being dry-cleaned three times, never machine washed, per instructions. I can no longer wear them, as they hug my thighs and make me look like a hipster. The gray pinstripe and the charcoal, which are dry-cleaned at the same location and at the same time as the navy, fit exactly the same. Knocked off a star as I can no longer use 1/3 pairs. At this price point, however, you have to assume that Chinese factory idiosyncrasies may show up between different colors. Still pleased.

First off, these are great looking pants for a great price. But I should've read into more reviews and saw they run small. I didn't know what that meant, and as I wear size 30 waist comfortably in everything else I expected a snug, but comfortable fit. Boy, was I wrong! Size 30 didn't even come close to closing around my waist. I may have a bit of a booty courtesy of squats, but one side didn't even reach to the other even hiked up around where my waist is (I'm not an old fogey so I like things to sit around my hips, so the fact I couldn't even squeeze into these around my actual waist is saying something...). Thankfully, Amazon being the great company they are let me exchange as I need these in a few days for a wedding and I am going up to a size 33 and just getting a belt - just to be safe. I would say, as others have pointed out, that while the material is great and they are definitely slim legged, you should go up a size or two to guarantee a proper fitting. I really don't understand how a size 30 waist in men's is more like a 27-28, but maybe it's just one of life's little mysteries...

Going by the other reviews, I expected these to run a bit tight so I ordered a size up. I am normally a 32x30 so I went with a 34x30 and they fit great. Just a tad loose on the waist so I probably should have tried the 33x30, but with a belt it's no problem at all anyway.I was worried as I have pretty muscular legs from all the biking, so I was concerned as most slim fit pants tend to hug my thighs too much, but these are a great fit for me, not nearly as slim on the thighs as I had worried. I'll buy 2 or 3 more pairs of these for work.

In posting my comments on what I thought was the "Perry Ellis Men's Flat Front Suit Separate Pant' I had ordered along with another Kenneth Cole pair of pants, I sent it with the latter; the Kenneth Cole pants. I wear a 30 inch waist but, after reading through the reviews, decided to go with a next size up as they suggested. In the reviews people were saying the waist was much smaller than what the pants were labeled and one should order a size larger than normal, so. I ordered the next available size which was a 32 inch. Have no idea how these people were measuring themselves, but when my pant came and I tried them on, they were every bit of 2" too big in the waist. I should have stuck to my usual and ordered the 30 inch waist as I always have. I have a very good tailor that I am taking them to tomorrow and see what he says. Have a strong feeling I will be sending them back and hope they still have a 30 inch waist size available.
