Message To The Blackman In America By Elijah Muhammad According to countless mainstream news organs, Elijah Muhammad, by far, was the most powerful black man in America. Known more for the students he produced, like Malcolm X, Louis Farrakhan and Muhammad Ali, this controversial man exposed the black man as well as the world to a teaching, till now, was only used behind closed doors of high degree Masons and Shriners. An easy and smart read. The book approaches the question of what and who is God. It compares the concept held by religions to nature and mathematics. It also explores the origin of the original man, mankind, devil, heaven and hell. Its title, Message To The Blackman, is directed to the American Blacks specifically, but addresses blacks universally as well. Game changer
My son is in jail at this time in his life and requested me to send this book, a book that probably would have never been thought of if his situation was not the way it is, in jail. With said, I’ve been told by my son that the book is causing him to change his mindset in a positive light and it helps him to stay focused on the now and not past events that was meant to destroy him So, in other words, besides him staying in Gods truth, the Bible, this book is another reference to truth and how to change for the better

Must Read To Understand This Powerful Movement
White jewish guy from NYC here. I have seen NOI members on the streets for years and was curious about their religion and teaching. I found this book extremely interesting. A few points I came away with after reading this book: 1. If I was black I too would not believe in a white man's religion. It doesn't make sense. Faith is to be....something you have faith in. If it gives you strength to be a better person and unify as a group then so be it. 2. Not all white people are devils. That is a rather provocative comment and alluring to some non members to join. I get it. However I do agree that one will do for their own kind what other's won't. White's won't put blacks above whites. Black people need to step up and unify. This is a positive message. 3. The history of yakub and the genetic mutation of blacks into whites reads like a script from a weird science fiction movie but interesting non the less. 4. W. Fard Muhammad ( Allah in the flesh )- Fascinating. Appears in Detroit for 3 years then vanishes. Love It. Even the FBI can't track him down. I wish this book talked more about him and his short time on earth. 5. Elijah Muhammad fathered 21 children according to wikipedia. Righteous....or Right On ? :) I have total respect and understanding for this book. If I was black I could easily fall for this teaching. Someone has to stand up and shove hate right back in the face of those that hate. Unfortunately it only perpetuates hate. Let's hope that one day the black race can overcome its' hardship another more productive way. Meanwhile this movement is valid and understandably necessary.

Must Read For All US Citizens- Good Advice Whole Host of Issue's- Although A few Issues In Lack Citation And Overall "Dogma!"
This book should be required reading for all- not just Africa-Americans etc....! It contains a lot of historical issues, that occurred in a different era and time and history, that sadly cannot be undone, even thought as "author" points out different "choices" could have and should have been made during those times! Furthermore, it has very good advice on a whole host of issues from personal finance to "living" the best life one can within boundaries or "rules!" Also, it discusses very obscure "religious" or "theological" / "mystical" references- perhaps from Book of Enoch...etc....??? That is the biggest issue with this book and other books by the author, he does not "necessarily" quote nor even "cite" where he in fact gets a lot of his information. This would, indeed be a great help for any reader to follow up and/ or investigate a lot of the author's themes further- if the reader so desired!? Additionally, he cites the Vietnam War as being a "turning" point for a whole host of issues and even mentions the US "coming" off the "gold" standard and what in fact that may possibly mean..... The only flaw in the authors' writing I find is the "dogma" of "discrimination," simply for lack of better word, against those "different" than intended audience of writings for no other reason than simply "different" and perhaps never done any harm to "others" the author is targeting!
