Thinner than regular, thicker than neon.
First of all, this pearlescent green is a BEAUTIFUL color and seems to dry very fast. All Angelus paints require prep, but I painted on a few different surfaces to test results:1. The first surface was black faux-leather shoes wiped thoroughly with acetone prior to paint. This required 4-6 coats to cover completely and hide brush strokes. This was not surprising, and once it was covered, it was amazing!2. The second surface was the same pair of black, faux-leather shoes but not prepped first. The results so far have been the same; my guess is that the difference will only be in how it stands up to multiple wears.3. The third surface I painted was a pair of “nude” shoes, prepped. This took 2-4 coats to hide brush strokes, and looks equally beautiful.4. The last surface I painted was a black, silicone phone case, not prepped in any way. The color is vibrant after only 3 coats and stokes are invisible.Overall, Angelus is a fantastic brand. This pearlescent formula falls in viscosity somewhere between the Angelus regular formula and the Angelus neon, for ease of application. It pours more similarly to the neon, but appears opaque in fewer coats like the regular. If you are thinking about getting this, do it! The color is maybe a bit more vibrant in person than online, but very close to the pictures. And like I said, it dries very quickly; I have been able to apply subsequent coats in one day. When my projects are complete, I will be covering some parts with Angelus #600 sealer as well for comparison, though I have found this unnecessary in the past.

Incredible product!!
I bought a nice, used leather jacket online; the ad said it was silver but when I got it, it was definitely more of a dark gold which I was not happy about. I found this leather paint and decided to give it a try and I’m so glad that I did!!.As you can see from the pictures, the half I have painted is a gorgeous sterling silver! The leather I am painting is extremely porous and didn’t need to have any finish removed. I have been using a small, soft paintbrush, using a very thin layer of paint, and working in small sections. It dries extremely fast, but very smoothly and not patchy at all. After finishing the first half, I still have over half the bottle left, so a little is going a really long way. I’m planning to use Angelus Acrylic Finisher to give it a protective coating and just a little more shine. The paint is making the leather just a tiny bit stiffer, but it was extremely pliable sheepskin to start so I actually welcome a bit of stiffening in the leather..I am absolutely thrilled with this product so far. I will only update this review if I find that there are issues later on down the road so, no news is good news!

Always great!
I have many Angelus paints in various colors, I'm always very pleased with them. They do take multiple coats for coverage, but it's worth it. It smooths out beautifully, and never cracks. It's soft and flexible, and dries a pretty satin sheen. Highly recommended!

Gorgeous color
Absolutely beautiful color and a shiny finish. My tattoo chair was light pink so I had to buy two bottles to get it to cover it evenly. I also done my arm rest. *hack- paint with a purple acrylic matte paint before doing a couple coats of this one and you’ll save a lottttt of time and a lot of paint*

Great shoe paint
Can't find the perfect rose gold shoes? Buy a pink or tan pair and give them a rose gold update with Angelus paint! Why did I only give this 4 stars? Well, the color is more coppery orange than rose gold imho. And results are hit or miss depending on what your starting with. I have done three pairs of shoes. One was turning hot pink into rose gold on untreated leather - thumbs up and turned my girly shoes into a more elegant color with just two coats. Another pair was originally a metallic bronze in which I added just one coat. The bronze to rose gold transformation was stunning!! The third pair I have photographed here...and ugh, the results were horrible! The shoe on the left has two rose gold coatings over white leather and it was really streaky and terrible coverage. So what I did was pick up another Angelus paint in Salmon color which you can see on the shoe on the right. The salmon covered up the shoe really well. In the photo you can also see a leather bracelet that was also originally white with two layers of salmon coatings and two layers of rose gold...and voila! Finally, the results I was looking for. So, my recommendation is to use a base color first if the original item Is not already close to a rose color for better application and results. Also, the final color is a little too peachy for me, so I think I'm going to try to use Angelus in Mauve as a base coat on my next project and see if I can make it more pink and less orange.Tips:-Tape off what you don't want painted.-Use a flexible brush-Thin thin strokes and thin first coat - no need to try to get it all covered in one coat, trust it will get there!-Let it dry between coats (if it's even at all sticky, let it dry more!)-Finish it with a finisher or clear wax (the paint is really flexible and has a nice sheen on its own, but this would be good to protect your end product!)Enjoyed doing this transformation. I wish Angelus had a black metallic/pearlesecnt :)
