Waited too long to get this upgrade
I have a 10 year old D*ll 8700 XPS, and when doing a cold boot, the disk would spin for a good 15 minutes at 100%! Unusable during that time. I was thinking that wouldn't it be great if I could drop in an m.2 drive. I looked at the manual, and it mentioned "mSATA". The rest is history. Updated the BIOS. Installing was easy, but I already had some screws from an earlier m.2 drive install on another computer. You'll be needing those. Cloned with Macrium reflect. Temporarily unplugged the old drive, and it didn't boot from the SSD! Its little red light was blinking, but that was all. Sad. Fearful. WTH? So, I plugged back in the old, and... to my delighted surprise it booted from the new one. The performance with the SSD is like a big black cloud has been lifted. So much better. With this drive I now never see the disk go to 100%!

I don't know why I added a picture. These days the M.2 drives are so hidden that you practically have to disassemble the whole computer to get at them. Anyway, these work great and they really completed the build. I wanted a lot of storage with lightning fast speed, and that's what I got.

Fast and easy storage
This is my first m.2 and it's 100% worth it. The speed is a lot faster than I expected. I've had it for over a year and so far no problems. It was easy to install and set up without issues.

The drive that came in this time around, was DOA.
Got the new drive this morning, except the case was empty by the look of it.Like the unit I got last year the drive was found later at the bottom of the package.Got it as a storage drive for my laptop, only gen3 and slow, my laptop only supports Gen 3 anyways. Not expecting much from the cheapest 4TB nvme on amazon right now. It's still faster than any SATA m.2s.The drive came with the heat sink completely off, stuck on the package tray.So I went to testing it out ASAP.Pop in to my PC, crashed the system during format??!!Computer management did detect the drive, but it never was able to format the drive, its a nvme for god's sake, formatting it should take seconds; not forever.Put it to different nvme enclosure, the same thing happens.This one is going back to amazon asap.

Needs NTFS Formatting Before Windows OS Will Recognize It.
This will need NTFS formatting before your Windows OS will recognize it. It was sort of a pain on my end to go into Bios and change my load-up drives so I could format this LEVEN JPS600 2TB with Windows setup. So far - It works well ,nice for extra space on your PC. It’s very fast and can copy multiple large files in just a few seconds. I’ve had it for 2 weeks and put over 1 TB of data on there so far… - I’m not gaming or running a server, I only use it for storage. If I was running a server I surly wouldn’t buy cheap hardware like this and expect it to perform like I just spent a million bucks. I'm sure this may heat up and fail if you use it all the time..

Low cost, high data storage
When I was building my quiet mITX, I knew I needed a large data storage, as I had a bunch of games and recorded gameplay. I was scrolling around PCPartPicker, and found a lot of high storage SSDs were way past my budget, until I came around to this. The only issue I found was one day my computer couldn't detect it but I opened it up and pushed it a little and it's been fine. Ever since, I had no issues on the storage side, and am yet to even get past half the amount of storage on this drive.

no se si fue mala suerte o algo pero en mi steam deck de 64 gb no funcionó adecuadamente. se trababa al cabo de unos minutos, le hice la instalación del sistema desde 0 con varias usb diferentes y el resultado era el mismo

Una alternativa para steam deck
Llegó muy bien empaquetado el ssd ya lo instalé en la steam deck si bien no se puede atornillar directamente si se puede quedar fija dentro de la carcasa metálica y me ha funcionado perfectamente y el reinicio de la consola ahora si es instantáneo. Muy recomendable.

This is worst m2 I ever bought
I bought 4TB for PS5 as internal storage but It is always crashing whenever I install the games and restart my PS5 it always stuck at boot and asks me to format the drive to go further, this is why I installed many paid games and later I had to format it because it stops my ps5 to go on the login screen. Then I had to remove this m2 permanently from my PS5, and everything was working smoothly. Because the problem is with their read and write speed it's less than the recommended for ps5. so my advice is never to buy if you are looking for ps5, it will not work for you. I lost this money because of misguidance by this seller on tag line.
