Very effective lighting, instructions make sense.
arrived undamaged, great start. Laid all parts out, tested lights, fully read instructions. Just used hand tools, and 3 hours later. all done. We used 5 sections and had no issues with ball bouncing and hitting lights. Also added side net at the same time, works great. could not be more pleased. 1 section at a time as you have to wiggle the plug and cord thru. If you jump process putting all together first you'll be taking them apart.Outside of that mounting to pole is easy. take your time and be safe, ladder time.zoom

Amazing product at a great price!
Super easy to install on our existing Goalrilla hoops, and the quality of the materials and design, for only $250 is just wow. Once up, the lights provide more than enough light and are set high enough and out beyond the hoop far enough that the light doesn’t get in your eyes and wouldn’t be in the way of any shots. Recommend absolutely and without reservation. Amazing product, and the price just makes it that much better.

Highly Impressed!
The Goalrilla LED Light has highly impressed me with the ease of installation and the amount & quality of light that comes from this unit. I have an in-ground mounted height adjustable Spalding Goal which gave me some concern since this lighting package is designed for Goalrilla Goal assemblies. I did purchase a smaller set of u-bolts from Amazon for a better fit to my pole and the only other modification I made was to drill a new set of holes in the mounting plate (closer to the top set) to allow my goal to still function in complete range up & down. Other than that, the goal installed per the instructions and fully lights our mid-sized court area. Highly recommend if your trying to light up your court area!! It arches over high enough that players won't have the glare in their eyes and the white light is clear & crisp. This is the description for the U-Bolts that work with the Spalding Goal -National Manufacturing 222398 8418-345 Us2c 3/8x4x5" Steel Sq "U" Bolts W/Nuts Assem Zinc (13-4280)

Great Product, Buy It!
Works great but my neighbor doesn’t like it. He already told my son the light goes through his living room and blinding him while watching tv. As a good neighbor I turned the light downward a little. I haven’t seen him since. This light is bright enough for my half court and I highly recommend it. I bought a remote controlled adapter that plugs into the socket so I don’t have to unplug every time I use it. The only thing I had issues with is when connecting the metal arm extender/parts together. Some were tight so I had to use a rubber mallet to tap it in while trying to line up the screw holes. Overall, great hoop light and my family is very happy with it.

Big improvement over other solutions
We just installed the light last night and the units have only been available for a short time, so this is not a long-term owner review. We have a Goalrilla CV60 with a yard Guard attached. The court is 30x35 concrete.Pros- The price is reasonable compared to the other solutions that I looked at. Each light head at retail alone would be 25% of the system cost, and then you have to find a way to mount it high enough in the air. I looked at other hoop lights and installing 15ft poles. This unit costs less than the concrete I was going to pour.- The design appears to be a big improvement. The older halogen model was disliked for a number of reasons that have been addressed. First, it is LED, so it is unlikely that we are going to see the units reach the end of their functional life. The design allows you to lower the unit in order to adjust the depth and also perform maintenance and adjust the light angle. More practically, it would be almost impossible to install without this feature unless you had a cherry picker.- I do not recommend it, but I was able to install this in the dark with the help of a somewhat attentive 9 year old. Definitely bring the tools they recommend.- The light output for a 30x35 concrete court is excellent. The light covers just outside the perimeter of this space and is like it was tuned for this size. I was skeptical that these lights would be enough output for the space, but it looks fantastic. We did not play much, but with he light being positioned from above, the shadows were not a problem.Cons- The instructions are a bit lacking. They address a number of different types of installs, but they could have spent more time and a few more pages breaking things down. There is nothing about how to install this unit if you have a Yard guard already installed. I went ahead and installed it below the Yard Guard and it seems to it fine. There are other areas where more explanation would be helpful. everything is a tight fit and there are some sharp edges, so you must be sure you are going in the correct order or it is a pain to take it apart. Especially in the dark.- All of the other accessories have a plastic coating where they contact the pole, but not this system. It is all powder coated, but it still leaves me wondering why it did not receive the same treatment.- My kids kept asking me 'where is the switch?' and i told them there was not switch and please stop asking. I will be running an outlet to the pole that will be switched (with a smart switch that I can use to turn it off from the house 100 feet away if I have any sense). In the meantime, it is using an extension cord. I asked myself why they would not have included and inline switch instead. I would prefer to not plug the thing in each time we want to use it. The cord has to be fished down each pole section (see next point), so any solution would have them adding some kid of weatherproof junction which would have been costly. They should have considered incorporating this into the design of the transformer box that is mounted between the lights. This would have required a less heavy duty cord from the top and allowed them to add a weatherproof switch at the bottom.-The plug fits, but it is tight at the top of each pole section and you need some finesse to get it past the tapered end. Had they placed the transformer at the bottom, this would be a non-issue since they would not have needed line voltage. Also, the edges are sharp and if you are not careful, the cord insulation can be compromised when fishing it through.Overall we are very excited to use the light and expect it to get much use.

Great solution for night time hoops
Only owned for a few hours but so far loving it. Assembled and installed by myself. Took a few hours taking things slowly but relatively easy and actually enjoyed having detailed instructions with all accessories clearly labeled for once. ZERO ambiguity. Paired with some outdoor plug covers for a couple of extension cords and a remote controlled outlet. Easy for the kids to turn off and on. Pics show the amount of light the court gets. Just enough to play without getting a ball to the face. No odd shadows that you’d get from a spotlight. Good product. Well designed. No drawbacks that we can see so far. No how do I get rid of mosquitos?

Absolute TRASH!
The first light I got was amazing at first. It was literally daytime on the court with black sky. The light also cut off hard at the back of the court, a foot into the grass it was daylight and there was a hard line that started darkness. That light went bad after a single season with only a handful of uses. Had to fight with the company to replace it and they sent me a replacement. The lights in that were nowhere near as bright, and the light bled into the far back yard, no hard cutoff. After a season with this one, one light began flickering g for a while which made it pretty unusable, and now that light is completely out. These are WAY over priced for the garbage quality.
