Value price for a functional drill, just don't expect it to do to much. Drill has a good look and feel. Light weight and sleek design make it easy to hold. Flashlight on it is helpful. Downside is power. It was hard going trying to drill into sidewall around windows or drill into studs. The included drill bits are not very good. I broke one off in the wall the first time I used it. Maybe better bits would get better results but that's about the level this drill can handle.Update: I purchased 2 months ago, but am upgrading my rating to 4 stars based on excellent customer service. In response to my review, the company contacted me (I was not asking for anything) and offered an upgraded drill & replacement bits for no charge. Even after I declined that offer, they tried to grant me a full refund. I'm keeping the drill and declined the refund ( I still think its a decent drill at a good price), but I appreciate the company for standing behind their product and for the great customer service.

UPDATE: I have been Using this drill for more than a year and I am really satisfied with it.I DON'T use this professionally or every day, but I have used it many times around the house and in my wood working projects (nothing heavy duty).PROS:-Very light, nice handle-Great Price-Great for mild jobs around the house (tightening screws, making holes in dry walls and woods)-The case looks good-The battery holds well and has not faild after a year and a half YET.CONS:-The drill does not do well with heavy duty stuff like; metal and concrete but that is expected from a portable drill.-Even though it is advertised as fast charging, the charger's light does not turn green for hours. So for it to fully charge it take 2 hours or so ( In my case )Overall I think this is an excellent product and really cheap for it's quality ...If you want something for heavier dusty stuff or you drill every day I guess you gotta pay like a $100 or more. This works for me, I really like it

Another good toy for me from TACKlife. Im an engineer and need some tools once in awhile for work. I also like to do home DIY projects myself so i like have my own tools that i can keep as a set instead of sharing with my husband. This one is perfect for that reason. I didnt have to commit to buying an expensive drill for hanging frames and small projects. This one comes with basic size drill bits. Some screw bits and a wall charger cor the battery. It feels durable, almost like my dewalt and definitely better built and more sturdy than the craftsman that i had years ago. Its much lighter than the dewalt so i will be picking this one for jobs around the house over that one. I dont know how it would do on a construction site though, you would probably want something more powerful and a bigger battery.I made a video but amazon changed its review screen on my phone so i dont know how to include but once i can. I just got this drill to replace an ancient Makita and I am really impressed with it so far. I wanted a drill with the in-grip type battery so it came down to this or the Bosch PS31 for double the price. Considering I am not even a homeowner and just use a drill occasionally it made sense to buy Tacklife as I have had some of their other products and they seem like a good value. This is a nice tool, maybe not as nice as the Bosch but pretty nice and does not feel cheap. It's very comfortable in the hand and has plenty of power for my needs and the functionality is good. I love how compact it is as well as the small storage size. Like other reviewers I am concerned that an extra/replacement battery is not available because but I'll deal with that when the time comes. Note I purchased from a third party seller because Prime was sold out and they shipped it in the retail box it comes in which tightly covers the blow molded case and the case therefore arrived cracked and damaged in multiple places. :( Bummer! Therefore, I would only recommend buying with Prime because I assume they will put the box inside another box which would prevent shipping damage.

Personally I like the drill itself just fine as it's an excellent product. I gave this a 3 star rating because it comes with a single battery pack and I have hunted high and low to find and purchase a backup battery pack for this drill with no luck. I guess after the battery gives up, a person is simply going to have to trash the drill and purchase a new drill. When that happens you can bet I will purchase a drill that has extra battery packs available to purchase.

Finally broke down and bought myself a drill. Got tired of never having the right tool for a household job or having to borrow my Dad's. Love that it's lightweight and the battery is in the handle instead of sticking out. Nice case with variety of bits/attachments.

This is my go to drill / driver for around the house work. It feels really good and solid in the hand, and I haven't had any issues with it except one time I had the speed selector switch set to in between 1 and 2, and the drill wouldn't turn. Sounded like it was slipping on the clutch. I haven't had the battery die on me. Yes, the light only turns on when the drill is turning, which makes it a bit useless to use it to help align the tip to the work piece. Yes the light doesn't quite shine on the work piece at the tip either. But my Milwaukee suffers the same issue.It would be awesome if the light was relocated to the battery. It would be awesome if the light stayed on for 10 seconds after the drilling stopped.I got this drill on one of the lightning deals and would whole heartedly recommend it.
