I purchase this Shut Off Device in the event a Sprinkler Head is accidentally activated. There are numerous sprinkler heads in our condominium that are located in awkward locations. Hopefully I will never have to use this Device, but it is nice to have because it may save a lot of potential headaches and money down the road.

Well worth the small price, I keep one in my toolbox when working around sprinkler systems. A small price to pay which will save you allot if an accident were to happen.

Haven’t deployed it in a busted head situation yet, but it fits neatly into my bunker gear pocket awaiting the need. As a FF, having one allows me the ability to remedy a problem quickly, and potentially lessening the extent of damage.

It does not have a suitable nut to ensure proper operation. The mechanism appears to be too weak to overcome the water pressure. I hope never used it.

Good concept. Worked good for a while. I run a fire academy and after 10 students the threads stripped out and wouldn't tighten anymore. Good for one or two times of use but not repeated use.
