find the websites showing you how to do this and it works a treat, Definitely not for the faint hearted though, you will need the correctly sized driver to open the case.Once done and back together it works great.

This battery does not fit the Tom tom Go 50 sat Nav. The connector is different, and the battery size is too big. Clearly, the battery fits some sat navs, but the seller hasn't checked their advert is correct in identifying which ones. Very disappointing.

the plug on new battery was not the same as the original in my tom tom go 50. I cut the old plug off old battery and soldered it on to new battery, also new battery was larger than the original but it fitted ok, seems to work ok

The battery on our Tom Tom Go730 needed replacing,I purchased the battery from elite electronics,it arrived promptly but without the tools which were supposed to be included, but 1 email later I had a response and the tools within 2 days.Brilliant customer service! The battery replacement was a little fiddly but straightforward, to release the battery from the circuit board I used a hair dryer to warm and soften the glue from the battery, then by gently prying it upwards using the plastic tool from the tool kit.Result 1 working Tom Tom again :) happy days.

The battery in my sat nav gave up, after 2 minutes without a power source the TomTom went dead. This battery has given it a new lease of life. It's worth buying the kit with tools included as there's some very fiddly little screws. Fitting it is a lot easier with the tools. RECOMMENDED.

It did and is still working perfectly as described and that is all you want from any thing you buy.

My TomTom G0630 could no longer last for more than a few minutes, so bought this replacement battery.I am now up to 2-3 hours of use again, but with the original battery I had about 4-5 hours when it was in new condition.I cross my fingers this new battery will at least last a few years.

Battery did not fit TomTom Go 40
