I have tried a range of recommended products, in addition to oils for my cuticles and would say this is one of the few products I would recommend / buy again. I am not entirely sure if I have dry or brittle nails as I get conflicting explanations from those I have asked, but regardless this does work as the dramatic improvement in my nail quality, length and colour (i.e. nice and pink/white - does not turn your nails yellow).It doesn't last very long if you immerse your nails in water too much, you just have to remove and reapply it. My natural nails have always been admired that was until I hit the menopause or long term use of medication. I found they had become really weak and would split all the time. I used OPI, Sally Hansen and a few others but nothing worked!!!! One night whilst surfing my ipad I came across this Duri Rejuvacote with amazing testimonials from previous users. A bit pricey I thought but I was desperate. I used one coat everyday as advised then when your nails are strong one coat every other day. I was very doubtful but thought what the hell follow the instructions and lets see. I am so, so happy to report that this product actually WORKS!!!!! The splits are being held together and length has now been achieved. I found myself filing out the splits so I would have a strong nail. This will take time but it does work. Now what happens if you stop using it? I expect they all would all start splitting again but seeing as you can use it every other day I think thats really a small price to pay for lovely natural strong nails. I take it off once a week and start again (doing my OWN nails... pauper that I am); I don't use nail varnish with it, and it gives my nails a nice natural slightly pinkish tint, they look sort of French manicured. I'm not sure how it'd look with coloured varnish though.I have been using it over a month now though, and I haven't noticed any discernible difference in how much my nails split. Maybe I'm doing it wrong, maybe there's just nothing that can really counteract the effect of those nails hitting keys constantly, or maybe the product doesn't really work. After years of nail wraps and gels and now the constant washing of my hands and using hand sanitizer my nails were soft, peeling and crack at the sides. I have tried nearly every well known strengthers including Nail Envy and nothing has really worked. I have been using this product for a month now daily on nails ( no Polish ) and they definitely feel and look stronger. The product is quick drying and easy to apply. I have put on a coat every day for a week then took it off and started again. For the first two weeks I wondered if it was any good I've kept my nails super short but now after nearly a month I have nails that are a lot stronger and growing with no splits. You do get a warm feeling in your nails but not painful and sometimes my fingertips ached a bit but worth it for the results. I recommend it just don't expect miracles in a couple of days you need to keep at it.
