Good product
Love this product. I didn’t like all the others that were white because they don’t match my other appliances. I’ve made tons of rice as well as steamed veggies and dumplings all cooked perfectly. But I use my own time not the one on the cooker

Excelente producto
Es muy facil de usar y limpiar, la consistencia es extraña pero creo que es simplemente encontrar las cantidades exactas para un mejor acabado.

Great Value, But Capacity and Durability Could Be Improved
a good fit for our household of two. It cooks rice well and is easy to use. However, when we have friends over, the capacity becomes a bit limited. After nearly 10 months of regular use, I’ve noticed the bottom of the pot starting to stick, which is a bit disappointing. That said, for the price, it’s still a very good value and works well for everyday cooking.

Cooks well, BUT...
I bought this rice-cooker after reading good reviews about this brand. I chose this size to ensure it was roomy enough without being too big for my needs. My previous rice cooker is a different brand and I love it but the titanium-coated pot had gotten pitted and I was concerned about toxins (no replacement pots for that brand). I wasn't thrilled that the Aroma brand only has an aluminum non-stick pot, but I thought I'd give it a try. On the first use to cook rice, the cooker kept making odd clicking sounds that made me wonder if there was an electrical problem. Eventually it stopped and the rice cooked to my satisfaction; however, the rice did stick to the non-stick pot. The next cooking event was ground pork with onions. Again, it cooked everything very well, but I was very disappointed to find that the silicon rim and aluminum plate in the lid are not removable for cleaning. Unfortunately, the silicon rim (which is part of a silicon mat between the aluminum plate and the lid) absorbs odors like a sponge! I finally wiped it twice with a paper towel and white vinegar twice and then the odor went away. The plastic vent cap on the inside of the lid also retains odors, so had to wipe that down as well. I cooked rice again this week and again, the rice stuck to the pot. Fortunately, soaking the pot in water loosens the stuck-on rice, but doesn't say much for the "non-stick" feature. I also tried the "soup" setting; the instruction manual states that the setting can be changed to one hour after turning on the cooker and choosing the "soup" setting. There is no way to change the setting to anything less than two hours for the soup setting. I pressed the minus mark and it went to "8", not "1". So I kept opening the lid to check the food and when it was finished, I turned the cooker off as it didn't need 2 hours for vegetables and frozen dumplings. As for the accessories, I don't like the soft plastic steamer insert or the soft plastic rice measuring cup. The hard plastic steamer and rice cup from my other rice cooker are exactly the same size so I use those instead.
