Five stars ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
I love that I can order a single 15ml of this ink. You usually have to buy a huge bottle, which I don't ever use, so being able to buy this size is super convenient. Seller wrapped the bottle very carefully in bubble wrap, and even included a nice ballpoint pen. I would definitely purchase from them again.Fuyu-gaki means winter persimmon, and for good reason because the color resembles it so. It is a brilliant deep orange, with strong red undertones. I noticed under my lamp (with warm lighting) the ink appears more orange. But in natural daylight you can see more of the red. It will shade (if you starve the feed) with a lighter salmon color. It's definitely the brightest ink I own now and I love it! 🙂

My everyday ink
This is my favorite ink to use. It’s smooth, absorbs fairly quickly. I’d you’re a lefty who oh probably will smudge from time to time but I have never had a real problem with it. It is a very nice, dark black with some glitter in it. It’s a very subtle glitter and remains very professional and beautiful, just enough glitter to give it a little personality.

Love this color
I really appreciate being able to buy a small bottle of this ink. I bought it to go with the Pilot Custom 743 Verdigris and the match is spot on. The ink color is lovely. I may have to buy the full size bottle when I run out.

I love all of the Pilot Iroshizuku inks
I guess I'm biased, but every Iroshizuku ink I have I love. I need more pens to put them in! The color is stunning, and it seems to dry quickly (even in my wet writers).

Perfect shade of soft pink
Have been looking for a perfect shade of pink that would not be too vibrant - that I could use on its own or mixed with others. Hana Ikada is that perfect ink for me - it shades well using Broad nib pens, looks soft but more or less legible, and if you are into mixing Iroshizuku inks, it is an invaluable mixer to add a bit of softness to certain browns or purples. Kosumosu seemed a bit too vibrant for me, glad they came out with a softer hue.

It’s A Nice Brownish Black…Or Blackish Brown?
Having seen what other Iroshizuku inks could do, I was excited to get my hands on this one, but I have to say that I was disappointed. I haven’t gotten much character or shading out of this one. The color reminds me of when I was a child and used to handle or step on black walnuts, and the inky fluid from them would stain my palms or soles a deep black with just the slightest hint of brown. Others have said this ink is ideal for painting, but if you’re looking for something to set off your writing, something with lots of personality, you might want to check out the other colors in this range.
