Great read!
Loved this. So many hidden secrets. Theo is a man who knows what he wants and sets out to get it. Maddie cares so much about her sister and works hard to take care of her. Theo swooping in and knocking her off her feet was a complication she didn't expect, but certainly wanted and needed, no matter how hard she fought. Great read!

Theo and Maddie
This was the perfect start to this second generation series. It was everything you could want from a mafia romance and I loved seeing T as a dad. I loved the twists and the suspense and the romance.Maddie crashed into Theo and he never looked back. It was so funny seeing the confident heir to the Valentino Empire struggle to win over the one girl who didn’t fall at his feet. He had to learn how to romance someone and it took a lot of trial and error for him to get Maddie to drop her walls.I loved how strong Maddie was. She was fighting daily to keep her and her sister afloat and find a way to pay for the medical care her sister needed to live. There was no better match for Theo.I loved the dynamic between the four Valentino brothers. They were hot tempered but would do anything for their family. Theo, as the oldest, had the weight of the family on his back, but his brothers, especially Matteo, always had his back. This was a fun book and I can’t wait to see how this war with the Russians plays out!

Hot, spicy, and sweet!
Kylie Kent can do no wrong! Another amazing read from her!The story had many great twists and turns and a lot of surprises that kept me hooked from start to finish. There were also some very humorous moments throughout the book which will definitely leave you laughing. What I love most about Theo Valentino is his big heart and his unwavering loyalty to his family. He is definitely an Alpha, but he falls hard and fast for Maddie and does all he can to protect her and make her happy. Maddie is a strong and independent woman who also has a lot of heart and can't help but challenge Theo at every turn, it was great seeing them come together and face the challenges of their past. I highly recommend this book anyone looking for a romantic and exciting read. I can't wait to see what happens with Mateo, Romeo, and Luca!

Decent Mafia Romance
This was my first book by this author, and it was a quick and easy mafia romance read. I did feel that a couple of parts were overly dramatic, and didn’t seem to fit with the story, but otherwise it was a good read.

mafia genre with loads of romance
Really cute plot line mafia genre, without a lot of violence (which is usually the case) and the Hero is an alpha but a really kind and attentive to the heroine (which is also not usually the case). The mafia family are loving and warm, women are independent and cherished (another “first” for me in this genre).Maddie has it bad taking care of her sick sister and making ends meet. On a bad morning she is late to work and smacks into Theo, the son of the head of a mafia house, spilling his coffee.Theo is enchanted, and tries to pursue her but she keeps pushing away, until one day she doesn’t.I loved how he falls first, how everybody is kind and empathetic. Hardly any violence, no torture, the plot is all about THEM and the secondary characters are loving and accepting.Feel good vibes throughout the book, inhaled it in a day.

💕
I’m a bit sad it was a standalone, I wish we got more story about the two before everything happened. I would have loved to have a duet and not feeling the story rushed. But!! I liked the book. I rarely give a book more than three ⭐️ but this one gets four ⭐️ because I liked the story, I liked the interaction with the characters. A good read that was a bit short but I like them duets and series kinda books 🥲

Relentless Devil
I loved Theo and Maddie. I thought it was so sweet the way he stalked her and wouldn't give when she pushed him away.

It's a great read.
This book moves quickly, and Theo will make you swoon in no time. It was a fun one, Theo is obsessed with Maddie. Also, it's unique because this might be the only mafia family without a villain within the family. Great chemistry and characters, looking forward to reading more in this series.

Starting this series with a bang!
Theo is crazy, jealous, and possessive. I was laughing when he was jealous of her words in the bedroom. I love how he falls hard and how he did so much for Maddie. She’s been so strong the last few years taking care of her sister. It was nice to see her taken care of for a change. I can’t wait to continue this series. All these boys are going to be a handful.

A sweet dark romance
This is my first book by Kylie Kent, and I hadn’t even realized that this was a spinoff series! While the author has clearly built a dynamic world and introduces some characters from her other books, my FOMO wasn’t too awful, and I wasn’t confused while reading. This book has instalove - on Theo’s part. He’s smitten the instant the clumsy barista spills his coffee on him. This is a mafia romance, but the mafia elements weren’t extreme, and the book wasn’t too dark. There were a few plot twists that were a little over the top, but all in all, this was a fun book!

Fast paced and would've preferred some more depth, but liked the story overall.
Was excited to read this as I pre-ordered some special editions of the series for RARE London lool, and it was an Italian Mafia romance, which I love!I did like this story, but I do think it was a bit too fast paced. I would've liked to have seen more development of Theo's feelings in particular. But, I did enjoy how Maddie didn't just automatically fall for him and was much more realistic about the fact that she now had someone involved in the mafia as a pseudo-stalker lol. Likewise, I thought her backstory was an interesting addition to the plot and linked her storyline to Theo's in a more unusual way.Loved how Theo was automatically so protective of Maddie's sister! It was so cute, especially when he finds out she's not as innocent as he thought lmao! Similarly, the way his brothers immediately took to them was really sweet and I adored seeing them all interacting.I really enjoyed the relationship between the Valentino brothers too-they were portrayed really well imo and I'm looking forward to getting each of their books. I'm not sure which one I like the most atm! Likewise, given the series name, I had an inkling that the boys' parents probably had their own book which I later found out that they do. So whilst it's killing me that I didn't read that first lol, I will hopefully check that out at some point before July. 3.6*
