Versatile, quality sound, clear display, easy to navigate
This pedal kicks A$%! I bought this Mooer radar to use with my POD X3 live and it brought it back to life for some time. I used my POD's amp models with the cab off and used the Radar instead. It faired well but I can also see using an actual amp head or preamp for direct recording. In my case I recently purchased the Mooer preamp models to accompany it and they compliment each other very well. I have used the combo for recording and practice play, both have been great. The Radar can hold 32 cab sims and even upload custom IRs. the EQ includes a Graphic and Parametric that can be turned on or off. The ranges for the Paramteric are all adjustable and the Radar models a cab and mic setup incredibly well. The mic position and distance can be adjusted in the EQ settings as well. Three mics types are included so you can patch in for a clean sound, or get good distortion tone. the Earphone jack works great, but I much prefer to use my studio monitors or headphones. If you happen to have a preamp to plug into this the Radar also has a Power amp function using a 6L6, EL34, and EL84. I used The Mooer 005 has great tone much like the EVH 5150 and acts as a great mimic while the 006 U.S deluxe sounds like a true fender with the Radar as the CAB simulator. see the Mooer audio site or youtube for additional info.

THE easiest option for your Impulse response needs
This pedal is a wonderful asset for the guitarist or bass player who wants a lot of control over their sound. With multiple slots to tweak and load your own custom Impulse Responses the Moore delivers a boatload of options in a package the size of a 2000's flip phone. 36 Preset slots, 3 eq styles, 5 power amp voicings, easy to use controls and a dedicated computer editor all make for a great live or recording tool. Similar products that cost 4 times the amount this did may have more options but for someone just looking to improve the sound of their digital software amps or modeling devices, this is THE must have device for 2018.

Close to perfect
This is a great tool. It's ideal for outputting your real amps preamp into it for recording or PA.If you want to go direct from a pedal board it's OK, but it'd not doing the preamp emulation. Using one of the Mooer preamp emulators or a Sans-amp (or knock off) will solve this. Honestly even an EQ pedal instead of a preamp pedal gets you mostly there. The only thing lacking is better documentation. Especially now they have the preamp pedals they should be showing them as a complete virtual amp solution.I have several Mooer products and don't love all of them, but this one is a winner.

Studio Wonderbox
This was an amazing piece of gear because of the options of recording direct to the board.Loading on new impulse responses was easy enough, the software isn’t the best but it does its job.The build quality is great, feels like a piece of gear I can depend on even after some roadwear.I use this thing all the time to great effect for direct-in convenience with mic’d up sound. Can’t say enough good things about this little box!

Impedance mismatch?? Overloading the input...
I play electric cello and got this for acoustic IRs. It's a passive piezo pickup design, but if I have the volume on full-open (no battery, no preamp), this thing distorts on the input side! If I roll the volume off, it takes some tone with it!Same deal with my strat. I get that you'd normally put it later in the signal chain, but why would a buffered signal be WEAKER than a direct signal from single-coil pickups or a piezo? Also needs it's own proprietary power supply.I have a student who uses one with a cello and it works for her purposes, but I recommend something different. I tried a ToneDexter as well for a bunch more money but had disappointments for the price. Ended up with a Line6 Helix Effects box (HX FX) that has IR blocks in it (but no amps since I'm going for an acoustic sound anyway) and it's working great for me.Maybe I was using the Radar wrong, or maybe mine was defective, idk, but apparently Hotone makes something similar that might be worth looking at as an alternative in this (lowest) price range? Shame, because on paper it looks like "the one to beat!"

Great! It will be 90% of your tone.
You can't beat it for the price! Great factory sounds, and you can also load in IR's

Sounds great, but my input isn't working right, so I have to order a new one.

No te arrepentirás!!!

Buenísimo complemento a tus pedales o pedalera
