I have well water and it can get a lil rusty at times. This distiller works to make your own drinking water. Only thing is, you will want to put minerals back into your water. Your body needs minerals to be able to absorbe vitamins. Im not a doctor and this is not medical advice. Research and see for yourself.

I use a CPAP, and this machine ensures I always have clean distilled water available. Be sure to get extra cleaning supplies for it, as you will be surprised how much is left behind from your tap water.

All of these machines are made by the same manufacturer(s). The sticker label is changed to make you think it is someone else. There is no reason electricity should flow through the body of the product. It shocked me when, while I touched it, my elbow touched a metal item next to me. It was not in use, but was still plugged in. Also, It didn't turn off when it was empty. The pressure(?) popped the top off.

Never used one of these before. I've had a gravity water system for many years. I still filter all my water. I use filtered water in the distiller as well. Just because your water is clear that doesn't mean it's clean. You can't imagine the scuz that is left in the bottom. I use the granules to boil the stains out and also a very soft cloth after cleaning is done. Haven't had any problems with it. Use distilled water for drinking. Just add electrolytes and quality minerals before drinking. It's a great little machine. I really like it.
