Truly love it, but poor isolation = unusable with Android devices (and probably all phones)
This thing is the ideal form factor for a small DAC for me. It sounds great, is well made (nice CNC'd aluminum housing), and can power my HD600s easily. It's beautiful, design-wise, and appeared to be exactly what I needed. It works perfectly with my iPad and laptop and a few other USB C devices. However, I began having issues almost immediately when using it with my S22 Ultra. Loud pops, screeches, and incredibly loud crackling. It would frequently lower (and sometimes raise, not good at all) the device volume on its own.I tried far too many things to get it working, from reinstalling USB drivers to cleaning the port, only to discover it did the same with several other Android phones (never tested it with iPhone. But likely the same issue, as you'll see...). The device just seems to be incredibly poorly isolated.I returned my original, hoping it was defective, but the new one immediately started doing the same things. After emailing ddHiFi, they confirmed this."Mobile phone signals are prone to instability and radio wave interference may occur. Since most smartphones use the outer frame as an antenna, this interference signal can easily be introduced into the earphones through the headphone jack of the TC35C DAC dongle. This phenomenon cannot be avoided for the time being."This device badly needs to be updated or entirely discontinued (or at least advertised as being incompatible with phones, as they're clearly aware of the problem). Plenty of other USB DACs make a little noise with interference, but this thing is unbearable. The $13 cheapo mini DAC I replaced it with is the same size and has VERY little extra noise (Gotison M1).My replacement also had a wobbly USB C connector, so that kinda sucks for a device that costs $50.Don't waste your money if you're considering getting something more premium than the cheap DACs, this one won't work if you plan on using it with a phone.

Bad quality, way over priced
After a week this adapter was crackling on both of my IEMs and blasted loud static at one point. For what I paid the quality is unbelievably horrible. It does applify compared the the apple adapter I replaced it with but for the price this thing should just work without issues. Save your time and money and buy a $10 apple or an Amazon basics adapter if you are using IEMs or buds.

Mutes audio randomly
Sounds great until it decides to mute my audio, with the only solution being to unplug and plug in again. I thought it was a one off thing, but I own 2 and they both do it to the same degree.

Huge screeching noises
A lot of interferences. I use multiple USB C to jack dongles. This one was faulty from the start. While listening to music I would hear some background "scratching noise" that would amplify over time. I cleaned the port of my phone and tried it on another device.Same thing
