Comfortable
My fourth pair of these. Last a long time and the are comfortable. I actually keep two pair by the door and rotate a new pair and an old pair.

Reliable Quality
What I particularly like about the brand is their standardization of sizing. Once you figure out what size works best, any replacement pair fits well. This was a replacement for an older pair. They seem just as well made and comfortable.

very great shoes. Sturdy
i HAD ankle problems. I no longer have as serious ankle problems...these shoes have given me much relief from foot and ankle pains. These shoes were recommended to me by my now deceased beloved friend whom had these shoes. His problems were alleviated by these shoes. And, another friend of mine also same thing. The size is dead on for my shoe size..true to size, i guess. Heavy and rock solid.

Lighter than waterproof
So far I love the shoe. I wanted to add that there is a weight difference between the waterproof version and the non-waterproof version. I opted for the lighter non-waterproof lighter version.

Great All-Around Life Shoe
I have been wearing the Moab 3's for nearly a year at this point and am quite satisfied with the product. I typically use them for walking the dog, light hiking, and as my general purpose footwear and have no complaints when it comes to comfort and stability. They breath reasonably well and the material has held up admirably under moderate use. The only notable weakness that I have experienced is that the traction leaves something to be desired when walking on smoother surfaces in wet conditions. Regardless, I will certainly consider this model again when making my next purchase and would gladly recommend them to a friend.

Never had a Merrell shoe before - Okay, I'm sold
I needed a work-shoe for around the house/barn. I'm V-hard on shoes and saw these at that membership where they check you ID at the door for $63.99 - almost bought them. Checked Amazon and $50.00. I love these shoes, no break-in period just some decent socks and you are set. I waterproofed them myself as I get snow here. Been constantly wearing them now for 10 days & I love them. They have a V-aggressive tread which I need for ice in the winter. Also, a large flat/wide sole for stability - you need that as you age, trust me. Two minor issues - I wish the laces were a bit longer. I like to double knot, and they are a bit short for that. Yes, I could replace the laces, but it's not that big an issue. #2 - they collect small rocks in the tread, and I track them in the house then the vacuum finds them. Also, a minor issue but FYI - Recommended.

Honestly - one of the best!
I’ve been using the Merrell Moab 2 shoes for a more than year now, wearing them almost daily, and they are easily one of the best shoes I’ve ever owned. They offer outstanding comfort and reliability, whether for hiking or everyday work. The durability is impressive, with excellent support and grip in various conditions. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a versatile and long-lasting pair of shoes.Definitely will buy again

Doesn’t have a tag
Don’t know if I got a returned pair of shoes or if they’re authentic but they came with no tags. Every Merrell hiking shoes I’ve purchased in the past had tags attached to at least one of the shoe. The price is okay though.
