Affordable Professional-Quality Microphone
Just getting started in the voiceover/podcast world, and wanted to find a quality microphone that wouldn't break the bank, but allow recording of professional quality audio. This kit was the perfect fit price-wise, so I figured I'd give it a shot. Amazon's return policy sweetened the deal. When I received the mic, I was pleased with the quality of materials. My satisfaction continued with the ease of assembly, and the fact that this is truly a "plug and play" microphone.Sound quality is phenomenal. Also, props to the manufacturer for their attention to previous reviews. My kit also included a velcro strap to secure USB cord to the mounting arm, and a pictorial diagram in the user's manual ensures that you install the microphone in the proper orientation for optimal recording quality.I chose to pair this with a studio-quality headset for monitoring, and a USB hub to add ports to my setup (my computer is lacking).Pair this with a free audio editor such as Audacity, and you are on your way to making studio-quality recordings for far less than $100. (With the other purchases mentioned, I spent right at $100.)Would definitely recommend. Great product for a good price!

very well made, fantastic value
I rarely write reviews but I found this product to be such good value and to have so exceeded my expectations that I felt the manufacturer deserves to be congratulated. I was looking for a replacement for a Snowball Blue and which I have found to be sort of ok but poorly designed, top heavy and the basic stand is virtually useless and cumbersome. The UHURU kit is a really well designed and affordable package. Everything is well constructed in metal to high tolerances and fits together with satisfying clicks. The articulated arm functions perfectly and keeps the mike where you put it (there are also thumb screws to hold it in position). I use it seated at a desk where you can put it in a perfect position to read a script, or it can be positioned up to 5'6" should you choose to stand. The shock mount is well constructed and has an elegant adjustment for fitting in the mike. And the mike? -- it's solidly made and surprisingly good with an excellent dynamic range. I have run a series of tests with the mike in different positions , distances input settings etc and have been surprised at the quality. I have used it for speech, laying down tracks directly into FCPX, and Garage Band and the results have been very satisfactory. I tested the pop filter and the wind cap and both function as designed. The value is outstanding -- I can't believe these guys can retail this for about 50 bucks. Amazing value. This review probably reads as though I'm an employee of the manufacturer -- but I'm not, just a satisfied customer who enjoys finding a bargain every so often.

Good Mic With Lots Of Accessories!
The media could not be loaded. For $65 I wasn't expecting much... BUT I'm actually very surprised by the build quality of the mic and all the included accessories. This product comes with an adjustable stand, shock mount, 8ft long usb cable, USB microphone and 2 pop filters. All of which were very easy to attach and setup. As for the mic sound quality... it matches some more expensive mics I've gotten in the past. Ones that are over $130. With the 2 pop filters and shock mount, this mic sounds crisp and very clear. This is also a very light microphone. Which is nice if you do a lot of traveling and want something small.Things I didn't like: Doesn't have a power light that indicates if it's on or off. No gain/volume nob. No headphone jack for monitoring sound levels. With all that being said... For under $70 you're getting a lot of bang for your buck with this set. Would recommend to anyone looking to start streaming or podcasting on a budget that wants a good sounding mic, and lots of extra attachments.

Amazing Deal for the Money!
This microphone kit is so good for the money! I was pleasantly surprised at the sound quality coming from this microphone! The build quality is actually a lot better than you might think. I figured it would be a lot of plastic, but to my surprise it was metal! It has a pretty study build in both the articulating arm and the microphone itself. The pop-filter is also great and works as it should! Even the shock mount for the microphone is really nice! The overall feel and sense of quality is very pleasing to me.The microphone sounds really good! I was surprised at the quality coming from it. If you are looking to do voiceovers, podcasts, skype, gaming, etc., this microphone kit is especially good for that! It sounds great. It is crisp, clear, and rich. The only issue that I found, and this is coming from a musician and recording artist, is that the microphone does not have on-board gain control. So, for singing, you may have to mess around with it a bit to get your levels right. Being a USB-type connection, I could not plug this into my mixer to get better control over the levels. I had to plug it in and use distance from the microphone to control the levels.Other than that one drawback, this microphone kit is a STEAL for the money. If you're starting out in making any kind of media that requires decent audio quality, this microphone kit is an amazing deal for about fifty dollars!

Mic works great - better than most. Arm/Boom is a little flimsy, but for the $ can't go wrong
As a boom mic that you can have near your face when on a conference call (or podcast or whatever) this mic works great and sounds great. It blocks sound from behind it very well, which considerably reduces echo and feeback. I have tried several other expensive mics and they all had problems with Microsoft Teams and sometimes Zoom with echo cancelation and this mic solved that problem. Even when I had the TV running in the room, people could not hear it as the rear noise reduction (cardioid pattern) is impressive. So for the price, the mic alone is worth the money. The boom works ok - it's a little flimsy and cheapish, but for the price it's pretty decent. I wish the clamp had more depth to it - I had to find a monitor stand to attach it to because it could not clamp around my desk - desk was too thick. So don't expect an awesome boom, but you can expect this mic to do well for conference calls or podcasts.
