Taste great and easy to rehydrate.
Bought these dried wood ear mushrooms for making Vietnamese egg rolls; excellent quality and taste. Mushrooms easily rehydrate in warm water.

Good quality but pricey
-I love woodear mushrooms and I use them regularly.-These woodear mushrooms are one of the better quality woodear mushrooms i have tried. They taste very fresh and are very clean.-These mushrooms do not have a very strong smell so you should be able to use them in various dishes or salads to add more texture to your food.-The product listings state that these mushrooms contain good amounts of vitamin D which is nice. I don’t necessarily eat them for vitamin D though. I just eat them because i love how they taste and i love the texture.-My only complaint is that these are very very small individual packets and as much as I appreciate the quality i wouldn’t purchase these at this price point.

yum!
I love the texture that wood ear mushrooms add to any dish. They have to be rehydrated first but then you can add them to so many dishes. They're great in hotpots or soups.

Adds an exotic touch to your soups and stir fries
We've been trying to cook more at home instead of going out but it gets really boring. Decided to order these to add a little more interest to some dishes. There are no instructions on the package that I can read, they're all in Japanese I assume. I decided not to try and translate and just soak them in boiling hot water for about 10 minutes before we threw them in some vegetable soup. The flavor is very good as expected. They are a little chewy and I wonder if maybe they needed to be soaked a little bit more.According to the nutrition facts panel they have very little in the way of calories or overall nutrition although they do provide a fair amount of vitamin D. As far as I know, and I know a little, vitamin D is only available in animal foods. These mushrooms probably have a precursor to vitamin D in them, that your body will convert to that equivalent of vitamin D.

Yum!
These dried mushrooms add a nice flavor and texture to my dishes. I can add them in so many different cuisines, from ramen to eggs to soup and they taste great. Very versatile and won't go bad before you get to them like fresh mushrooms do.
