What sanding belt is recommended?

100 mm sanding belts are available from a number of suppliers but I use those from Makita. In my opinion this is a very powerful sander and it needs to be kept moving over the surface to avoid cutting a grove. I use a 40 or 60 grade for very rough work evening up rough cut wood for example or rough floors. 100 grade for general work and 120 and above for fine work. However, I prefer to use an orbital sander for fine work. The Makita works well with a vacuum cleaner and extraction hose which Makita and others supply.

What is the correct voltage for this machine? In the description it says, 240V and in the technical details - 120V.

I purchased this a few years ago (the product page shows "You last purchased this item on 17 May 2017." and I can confirm that it is 240V
