Great Keto-Friendly Beans
pros- good tasting beans and very versatile. I use them to make chili, baked beans, tacos, etc. Pros- expensive, takes extra steps to soften and cook well. But they are the only "game" in town when it comes to low carb beans. These beans need to be soaked in boiling water for several hours and then spend overnight + in a slow cooker before using for chili, etc. My family loves them.

Tasty
Love these beans. You will not get as mushy a texture of regular type beans as these stay a bit firmer than beans with higher carbohydrate count. So you have to cook these for a good bit longer than other beans and likely put them through a food processor to get a refried bean texture. Very tasty and I actually like the taste more than many other regular beans. Game changer for those who have diabetes and those on keto diets. I highly recommend these and will continue to buy them.

Love them
Black Soybeans are hard to find in my area and if you can find them they're way overpriced. These are great and at a great price. Will buy more.

The secret is in the way you prepare these!
We have been using these beans for a couple years because of their low net carbs. They have been decent, but not incredible. A couple months ago my husband made a batch and they just did not soften. He went on line and discovered a recipe used by a Japanese chef to prepare them to celebrate the Japanese New Year. They include some sweeteners ECT which he deleted. 500 grams of beans, 1/2 tsp each salt and baking soda, and 10 cups of hot water. Soak for 24 hours. We had to play with cooking in the pressure cooker because if you bring them to pressure to quickly many of the skins peel off. We bring it to a boil (not pressure cooker), skim, bring it to a boil again and skim if needed. Then put the pressure cooker lid on , set it to the lowest pressure setting and set the temp low. Once at pressure, cook for 20 minutes and turn off heat. Let it lose pressure naturally then test to make sure they are soft enough. These bean come out creamy and delicious.... We now keep some in the fridge all the time.

Good replacement for higher carb beans
Low carb diets allows these beans and that is good. The flavor is not super good but good enough replacement for black beans in chili and other tex-mex recipes with much lower carbs. On their own a bit bland. Spice them up and pretty good. Non GMO is a good thing, too.

BEANS THAT ARE KETO FRIENDLY
After reading several articles and looking at recipes regarding bean compatability during a keto lifestyle, I ordered these. They cook easily, absorb well the flavors of other recipe ingredients, and are much more economical than their canned cousins. They store and freeze well also. My order was fresh, delivered promptly, and will be an additional source of protein in a number of different forms as I prepare meals this fall and winter. I was really surprised that they have so many uses. They are a recommended product from this seller.

Don't bother
These beans must be extremely old. Completely worthless and will not soften! I've tried cooking them every way shape and form and they are like rocks. Extremely disappointed. I'm on a budget and this was a waste.

Good and fresh!
I mean, they are soya beans, what can i say about them? The were sealed, arrived quickly in excellent condition, nice and fresh. I use them for soya sauce and douchi (chinese fermented black bean). They work very well, good flavour.
