Are there any rubber/silicone or plastic bits inside the kettle? Is the based inside metal? Is the element concealed?

The water indicator is in a tough plastic (see-through), the filter in the spout is plastic and the lid mechanism on mine is a tough plastic. However, the inside of the kettle is metal apart from this and the element is concealed.

Are there any plastic components that come in contact with the water? Is it all steel inside?

There is some plastic inside but it is a above the water line and the filter is plastic for the water to be touching it the kettle would have to be up to the max line and then the plastic of the filter would touch but only slightly. Other than that it is all steal.

Would anyone know the warranty information? The fill level glass has cracked after 15 months.

I have just checked the guarantee that was in the box when we purchased this kettle and it states that the guarantee period is 1 year. Hope this helps.

Can anyone tell me in ml what the minimum boil amount is? Thanks.

Hi, The handbook states 'one cup' of water as a minimum. It has a boil dry safety feature but probably not good to rely on this for very small amounts. I regularly only fill mine with just enough water for a standard coffee mug.
