This light installed easy and works great. Has option for bright white light or soft white. Takes 4 D-cell batteries and screws right to the ceiling. Perfect for and area without a ceiling light. I am curious how long the batteries will last with med-heavy use. I would recommend this product

Batteries last a long time and it works exactly like it says. Motion sensor works well and does it's job as a light. Pretty bright too as the only light in the room for the money

Pros: Very bright. Motion sensor is sensitive, so light turns on as quickly as if I flipped a switch when I open the closet door, and always shuts off when it’s supposed to. Connects to a plate that’s screwed into the ceiling so there’s no adhesive to fail. Battery-powered so no wiring or recharging necessary. Cons: Directions could have been easier. A lot harder to screw the plate to the panel than I think it should have been. Connection between light and plate seems secure but could have been made to feel more robust. I screwed it to a wooden panel that’s removable for access to the crawlspace. If I had had to screw it directly into the ceiling it would have been a lot harder. Still, happy with the purchase.

I've bought 4 strip lights that charge via a mini-usb port. They are easy to install with just a magnetic strip. But after a few recharges, they stop holding the charge and they don't work. I finally found these lights and bought two for pantries and they work very well. I used driving anchors to install them in sheetrock and that was pretty easy - they aren't going anywhere. They need 4 D cell batteries so that's a downside, as I don't know how long those will last. The light isn't on that long so they could last a year. But even if they don't, I don't mind buying more D batteries IF they continue to detect motion and light the area the way I need them. You do have to have some space though, as opposed to the strips but I had enough headroom to do that.

Its a nice looking light that provides enough light to illuminate my closet. The motion detector feature works well, but only stays lit for 20 seconds if motion is not detected. It would be nice if the on time was adjustable or have some more settingsMy issue with it has to do with the installation. The unit consists of three pieces: the light and the battery compartment. Next is a disc that snaps onto the light/battery unit. Finally there is another disc that is the mounting bracket that you attach to the ceiling, then the light battery unit is supposed to attach to the mounting bracket. Its inserted into some slots on the mounting bracket, and once you get the light unit in the slots you are supposed to rotate it a few degrees to lock the light unit to the ceiling bracket. The problem is that its almost impossible to get the light unit to lock into place. The reason it won't lock, are the four screws used to attach the mounting bracket to the ceiling. The screw heads protude and prevent the light unit from rotating at all, much less lock it into place. I gave up using the mounting bracket as i could only get it to lock was when the bracket was removed from the ceiling and no screws were present to prevent rotation. Being in a closet its appearance wasn't a concern. I discarded the mounting bracket and instead removed the battery compartment cover. I drilled four holes in it and used screws to mount the unit to a small board. I then attached the light/battery compartment to the battery cover and used screws to mount the board to the ceiling.I would give it four or five stars if the mounting system was better.

I love it! We put it in a closet that was difficult to access in dusk and the motion activator is amazing.

I don't have vision, put we hadn't found anything to help in the stand up shower.It was my idea to put it at the opposite end of the shower head.AND it works great!

The light is easy to install. I got the daylight white it is quite bright, may have been less "bright" with warm white. It is in my font porch/vestibule and lights it up completely. Motion detection works great. Delivery was great as usual.

Low cost perfect for pantry dur to its sensor. Easy installation and a good price. Really impressed with this light

This is an awesome option for a space that doesn’t have a light or plug in. We have one in a closet laundry room that was just dark to see, it turns on only when you’re there with motion sensor.

I use this in my double garage. Provides sufficient light for entire area. Highly recommend

We use this in an entry way that is poorly lit. It's quite bright and lights the area well. The motion sensor works well. My only complaint is there is no hard "off". You can choose motion sensor or motion sensor that shuts off in daylight. This means as pets roam my house after we go to bed, the light is coming on all through evening. It's just a little harder on the batteries is all. I'd still buy another one for a lower traffic area.
