Was unable to pinch the clasp shut, and once shut the opening the clasp was probmatic for her. I mumbled about aging fingers, and received a slap.So for practical reasons, unfortunately the bracelet was returned,

This is a really pretty, well made bracelet and great value for the price.Just don't use strong perfumes or detergents directly on the bracelet and you should not have any problems.It has a very sturdy clasp so you don't have to keep checking that it's safe.
