I often use leather in my beading projects and finding the needles and type of thread in this kit is hard in our rural area. The 15 piece leather craft kit with six colors of waxed thread will help me with my next project I am planning. I love the variation in colors ranging from light khaki, light gray, dark gray, black, dark brown and coffee. The leather awl is also handy and the first day it arrived my husband made a new hole in a belt that was a bit big so he could wear it tighter. The variety of leather needles is also handy for us because we both enjoy a variety of crafts and the thimble is great to push through touch leather. This kit is a great value for the cost and great when local stores do no carry this type of needed supplies.

I needed to take apart and then resew an ottoman with very heavy fabric. This kit had the heavy duty needles and upholstery thread that I needed. Good value for the money.

There are two gray thread rolls in the package but I wish one of them would be darker, otherwise it’s sturdy and easy to use!

This kit was a surprise at this price! the combination of thread colors is impressive. The assortment of needles alone makes this kit worth the money. I priced curved heavy duty sewing needles and just one at a popular hobby store was more expensive than this entire kit.The thread color selection seems as if it will match most interior upholstery. The only down check is that the thimble is fairly useless or it is an extreme case of operator error. I was able to mend a growing hole in my truck drivers seat and for not being any kind of professional (or even amateur) seamster, at least closed it up and hid the damage reasonably well. If you own a cloth upholstered vehicle, you should buy this kit and keep it on hand.

I was concerned about the durability/ robustness of the thread. It seems reasonably strong. The colors provided matched my rug pretty well. On purchasing, I had no idea what some of the needles would be useful for, but they are each labeled on the packaging. This kit has met my simple needs for the rug, and I can see that it will be useful for the couch and other rugs in the future.

Prompt delivery. Intact.Unfortunately, the curved needle just snapped with the third insertion. I was holding it with a small pliar - possibly slightly more broad than the 'needle drivers' I had been used to as a surgeon. It just snapped.The thread broke on my first attempt to sinch the torn synthetic leather car-seat together. It held fine thereafter once I had been chastened and adjusted my expectations.Good color options.

The product did exactly as I needed it to. It was strong enough to repair my drivers seat so that it looked presentable. Excellent kit with the correct needles and colors of thread to complete the job.

I liked the assortment of needles and thread. It was a little difficult to push needle thru the fabric but my hands aren’t particularly strong. My advice would be to use the thread doubled. I think it would be suitable for small projects.
