The one I received came with its own cord and I simply removed that cord and threaded my cord through it with no problem. I liked it so much I ordered a second one. Review: Fun - After I managed to break the ceramic pull cord in my shower, I was on the look-out for a replacement made of wood which could withstand contact with the ceramic tiled wall. I found it in this pretty little lighthouse pull cord. It wasn’t easy transferring it to my old cord, but I recalled an old trick used long ago, of threading it through with needle and thread attached to the cord. Worked a treat! And now hangs proudly.

excellent product
I bought the light blue and dark blue lighthouses for my bathroom. They look beautiful in there with my seaside theme. Crafted really well. Love the colours, each one is different. Lets hope they last longer than the bone china light pulls they replaced which the cat smashed whilst banging the pull cords around!!

Very quaint and lightweight. Not sure about sturdiness. It isn't glazed. Smaller than expected.

Broke within a day - easily fixed however
Gave less stars as unfortunately it broke within a day with the top coming off. Was easily fixed with some glue but don’t expect to have to fix an item within a day of using it. Otherwise the item is great and is a fab addition to the nautical themed bathroom.
