Overall a very good machine with only a few negatives
Have had for 2.4 years in regular use of all its modes overall is an excellent machine with good build quality ease of use and versatility some of the bad reviews seem outside of my experience with this device especially regarding build quality and power like anything with multiple features which can be used in combination you have to learn how to use it it is however very versatile and all the modes cook very effectively and powerfully in combination and singly the negatives are these the oven led light is very dim the control panel is not lit so can be hard to see individual buttons when in oven mode you have to use the tray so the overall internal size is reduced

DO NOT BUY THIS.
DO NOT BUY THIS.Within just 4 months...• Steam mode. Steam escapes door. Door does not close tightly. All the steam escapes. You cannot use the steam function.• Microwave mode. Often will stop mid-way. Perhaps it thinks the door is opening, because the door is absolute garbage and even lets steam escape. It stops suddenly, unexpectedly, before timer completes. Not every time, but often, you need to give food 3 or 4 attempts before you get all the way through a timer.• Oven mode. Pre-heats but does not work as an over afterwards. Oven mode is broken. Oven mode does not work at all. Don't bother trying to use oven mode.• Grill mode. Does not always work. Very very slow, not very hot. Its like a grill in slow motion.THE SELLER - TRIBAL UK - DENY ALL OF THE ABOVE. I sent in for replacement when I noticed issue one above. They said it was within specification and sent me another exactly the same. Guess what. Its not within specification and clearly was an early fault which developed into the massive list of problems I have to deal with above.TRIBAL UK SHOULD BE ASHAMED OF THEMSELVES. Completely refusing to replace it within 6 months window, breaking UK trade laws! They are meant to solve issue if a fault occurs within first 6 months. TRIBAL UK ARE HAPPY TO BREAK THE LAW. When I mentioned this law to them, it took a long drawn out fight with them to accept responsibility and they basically still refused by insisting I wait long periods for them to "repair" it and demanding expensive packaging requirements. They are far happier to shove me over to Panasonic warranty, who are utterly useless as Panasonic warranty shove me over to some 3rd party with terrible reviews who take weeks and weeks to respond and I doubt will fix anything.I even tried a claim and even that didn't help me.So thats Tribal, Panasonic and others all giving me the finger and telling me to go screw myself with a £320 paper weight. Thanks a lot, all of you, you utter scumbags.

I LIKE IT!
My big old Whilrpool multi microwave died and could not be replace having researched market this wasa v. competitively priced alternative that fits space in kitchen. I like the drop down door, the flat plate, no turntable, so can place my oval dishes in easily. Can see what’s cooking as there is a light. The panacrunch really does crisp up pastry, tip put some grease proof over top or can get a little dark, quicker than the grill on my Falcon range for grilling.Profiteroles rose beautifully using steam.Really pleased, gave it 4 stars for use only because there are so many variations need to keep manual to hand.

**UPDATE BELOW** - Embarrassed I even started this review
**EDIT/UPDATE** -Despite my initial reservations about this product, I have grown to love it….think ugly child. The bendy handle that used to give me so much anxiety has become trusted like an old friend. Have I become accustomed to the flaccid handle or has the bend become less due to more microwave use…I really don’t know.Additionally the bean juice stain that I was so disappointed with back at the beginning has actually not become any worse. In fact it still looks as good now, as it did after the first 2 months.I’m delighted to increase my review score to 4 stars, I’m not saying I love this pot like my old one but we have grown together and matured during the last few years of heavy use. There is a familiarity that provides quiet satisfaction.Buy it you won’t be disappointed….just don’t expect 5 star miracles straight out the box.I ordered this to replace an old “clear” plastic container used to microwave things like soup, beans, chilli etc. This container was old and had started to crack, whilst the cracks didn’t look great, they were internal and didn’t affect the daily use.First impression of the new container was that it was identical to the the clear one it was to replace but it wasn’t clear, it was opaque. I can still see how much food is inside but there is no detail to see how it’s cooking.Once I filled it up the next problem became apparent.....I thought I was going to drop it! The handle is so bendy and flexible that it gives zero confidence whilst full of boiling liquids when I remove it from the microwave.I’m only now getting used to the bendabilty of that handle knowing it unlikely to snap. The next problem and probably the most annoying is that it stains easily with strong foods eg chilli. Despite having a dishwasher that cleans everything else to perfection, this container always comes out with an orange ring around it. Even when I soak it and get to work with a kitchen wipe the stain remains.I can confirm this container does what it’s meant to do but how it achieves it all is a bit of an embarrassment for plastic microwave containers in general. My “microwave pot” from ten years ago is much better than this one.So to recap, it’s opaque, it has a bendy handle and it doesn’t clean easily.I can only give a generous 3/5 although I still ask how hard it can be to make a plastic pot!?Additionally I’m surprised to see how vocal and descriptive I have been about something that 9 times out of 10 is used to heat baked beans!

Great for steaming and other functions, highly recomended.
Bought this to replace a SHarp Steamwave when it quit working (and we couldn't get another). This is a great addition to any kitchen. Steam function (our primary reason for buying combination) is very powerful - more so than the old Sharp. Microwave and other functions are really good too.
