This item is stunning! I never thought I would ever write review of a box file before today. It has a really high quality feel to it. The soft grey leather look exterior is complemented with a plush, velvet like, interior in the same shade of grey. I was concerned after reading the couple of negative reviews but placed the order anyway. I'm so pleased I did! It seems as though the manufacturers have actually listened to customer feedback. The problems others have mentioned were mainly around the push button to open the file....mine came with a stud fastening on a satchel like strap, it looks and feels so expensive! Really, really good quality! Admittedly, it's expensive for a box file but you get what you pay for. I bought this as part of a gift and I am so proud to be the giver of such a beautiful present, so unique. No complaints from me, quite the contrary. Worth every penny (maybe double) but don't tell the seller :) Top marks deserved here + it arrived a day early

The box file was well made and took a good amount of paper files, it looked very smart with the others I've got.

I love stationery items and this beautiful A4 box file does not disappoint. It has the press stud fastening, is lined with a velvet feeling interior and has a ribbon to keep it open. It's got a large clip to keep paperwork safe and I paired it with the matching in/out tray. Very happy. 😊 X

These are high quality box files and I have gradually accumulated seven of them. To date all have been good (5 stars), but latest one had trouble with the latch being extremely hard to open, which has now broken just outside the return window, so downgraded to 4*

Me llegó con una mancha de pegamento en el exterior y con el muelle interior oxidado, cosa que me resulta incomprensible. Al margen de este incidente, la caja es muy bonita y responde a las fotos. Sin embargo, el sistema de apertura me parece malo y que no va a durar. Hay que apretar un botón de plástico para liberar una pestaña. Se hace difícil accionarlo. Además, la cinta que lleva para sostener la tapa abierta se suele quedar fuera al cerrarla. Por ese precio debería ser mejor. Si no lo hubiera devuelto por los incidentes, lo habría devuelto por la falta de funcionalidad.

Es una caja sólida y el acabado es muy bueno. Pero tiene dos defectos que me parecen importantes: el botón de cierre es muy muy rígido, parece que con el uso va cediendo un poco, pero resulta molesto cada vez que hay que abrir la caja. Para mí no supone una gran desventaja, porque lo uso como archivo, pero puede ser muy desagradable para quienes la compren para uso 'diario'. Por otro lado no me ha gustado la pinza interior. Al no estar colocada cerca del borde hace que se desperdicie un espacio que me parece considerablemente mayor que en otras cajas que tengo del mismo estilo.
