The Pirate (Sir Walter Scott's Collector's Edition)

This novel, like others by Sir Walter Scott, started out slowly. As usual, I was glad I persevered because the story was an exceptionally good one. It took a surprising turn near the end.

Tiny print made it a chore to read.
