I plugged this into a stereo and the stereo stopped working. Not going to recommend this item.

Waste of money, but the cost wasn’t worth returning!
The adapter was ordered with the intention of being able to read the thumb drive, inwhich it didn’t read or acknowledge that the usb thumb drive was even connected.

It's not working at all, neither from docking or iPod charger cable
I tested it with Sony, Bose docking even iPod charger cable nothing working at all. Waste of time

I was hoping to use this to convert our car's media adapter from the traditional iphone connection to a USB connection. Theoretically, this should work. It does not. Waste of time.

You get what you pay for. I should’ve known. Plugged it in right away. I was so excited and it did not work.

I was hopping this was going to solve my iPod to USB C connector issue by using this cable and a USB A to USB C connector. Unfortunately, this cable ruined my iPod connection in my stereo. Don't get this cable.
