Possibly the best pellets for large-breed rabbits, nursing mums and kits due their their 15.5% protein (not 12% as stated)
I used to feed my French Lop rabbits on these pellets until a few years ago when our local feed centre decided to no longer stock them and I was forced to switch to another brand. How delighted I was to see them now available direct from Amazon.I have used many pellets over the decades but these have always been my favourite - or rather the favourite of my rabbits. While feeding them, I cannot recall a single incident of gastric stasis or any other GI disorders, possibly due to the protexin. They do not contain any coccidiostat. There is an error in the product description - this 'Breeder Grower' pellet contains 15.5% protein making them suitable for all large-breed rabbits including Continental and British Giants and French Lops - which I have, plus nursing mums and growing kits. The pellet with the stated 12% protein is the standard Allen & Page rabbit pellet in the brown sack and this lower protein pellet is suitable for smaller and medium size breeds such as dwarf lops, Dutch, Rex, lionheads, Netherland Dwarf and similar breeds up to about 4kg. Larger breeds, such as French Lops, require a higher protein level.Although the pellets contain 18% fibre, rabbits will still need to be fed a good quality hay and/or long grass for good intestinal health and to keep the molar teeth in trim. They are nutritionally well-balanced and all of my rabbits thoroughly enjoy them, are a healthy weight and have noticeably glossy coats which are far more so than when fed on other pellets.Having tried most of the rest of the other pellet brands, I feel these are the best pellets available for large-breed rabbits, nursing mums and growing babies and they are both my and my rabbits' brand of choice. They are a fair price and my bag on delivery had a 'best before' date of 2 months; 2-3 months being the average for 'feed centre' type pellets versus pet shop brands.Very, very highly recommended.

Good value basic nutritious rabbit feed pellets
Have brought this sack of rabbit feed several times for two lionhead dwarf cross bunnies. They are happy with it. It is just the plain small brown pellet type mix all same size and shape, but easy for them to manage and they dont then selectively feed which rabbits can be prone to with other mixed feeds. Im always pleased with this product, is usually fairly cheap compared to other very similar more expensive well known brand feeds and have used for around a year now. I would say i fo supplement my rabbits feed with other fresh veg, hay, herbs and weeds/dandelions brambles etc from the garden which they love so its not their sole source of nutrition.

Ideal
This was the preferred for my rabbit. Great that I could buy it in bulk. Lasted me a long time. No stomach upsets with this either

Such a huge amount!
Works very well for bunnies when they were little. They love the taste and almost ate too much at one point.Only reason for not full five stars is the bag is HUUUGE!!! My bunnies are now off alfalfa (only feed them once in a while with this stuff) so now I'm left with a human size bag of pellets aha! Great for breeders... like it says on the sack.

Good Food
We have been using these pallets for years. We have quite a few giant rabbits and they thrive on it. Good fat content for the winter months or for when they have little babies.

Top quality and cheap
Rabbits can be fussy with this but it is only because it has no mint in it to add to the flavour, but if you did have mint in it your rabbit would over consume so really this is top stuff especially at 15% protein at that price. Cant beat the quality or price

Great value quality food
I have 4 rabbits, we get through a lot of rabbit food. I prefer the nugget style as they can pick out their favourite bits so there's no waste. I had previously been buying Harrington's however the price has gone up recently so I thought I would give this a try. The nuggets style I'd smaller than Harrington's. The rabbits took to it straight away, really great value quality food.
