Very warm but flawed in overall quality and design
I suffer from really cold feet in winter (can’t feel my toes on most days) and usually have to double up on thermal socks from other high street brands but had high hopes for these given the claims and have mixed feelings about these:Pros:Instantly warm from the first moment of wearing. The yarn creates a fluffy cloud of warmth around your foot which also acts as an air cushion in your boot. Lives up to its claim about being warmer than other thermal socks (I was previously doubling up on Uniqlo winter heatech socks).Cons:These socks run large and have very little elastic in them to keep them in shape or to keep them up your calf. I am a UK size 4 and my feet were drowning in these and could hardly wear my wellies given all the extra fabric bunching around my ankles. I gave them to my boyfriend who is a size 10 and he had no problems wearing them. Also beware that these are not hardwearing socks. The knit is quite loose and there is very little elastic or shaping to them. One pair I ordered was already fraying at the toe seam and pilling on very first wear. I imagine I’ll have to replace them every year.

Warm and comfy but don't last forever
I've had several pairs of Heat Holder socks over the years but when I was living at home I never managed to keep hold of them long because my brother would always steal them (an indication that are were well-loved among my family!)I finally bought the girliest, patterned pair I could find in December 2018 in order to deter my thieving family and have worn them very frequently since - they are perfect dog-walking-in-wellies-socks but are also much cosier than slippers so they get worn around the house a lot too. I do agree with others who have said they come up a bit large (I'm a size 6 and the 4-8s are a bit baggy on me), but a go round the tumble dryer shrunk them to a good size for me without ruining them. They've therefore also endured countless high-heat washes and tumble dries. However, they did finally die this winter when I noticed a hole appearing in one. A bit disappointing as these aren't exactly cheap but overall I think two years of hard wear is reasonable, and they may have lasted longer if I hadn't tumbled them quite so often.Overall, super cosy and comfy and definitely the best socks for wearing in wellies, but you will probably have to replace them at some point.

Comfy and Warmth
It's alright. I mean, some people will find it very warmth and some people might not. It deepens on person and theirs blood circulation.I ordered it because my feet are always freezing and it's very hard to keep them warmth. Honestly, my feet are cold all day which is annoying. These socks are doing their job after a shower or in a morning, when you get up. I mean you need to have your feet already warmth to wear them to do their job. They are keeping me warm for couple of hours (I would say 2-3 hours or so) and then I am freezy again. Sometimes I leave them on radiator to acumulate the warm and then I wear them. I love the material and how comfy they are. The knitted cover is so nice! Thank you, I am definitelly not disappointed. It's good purchase.

Warm, generous width, cosy socks..
Lovely and warm socks. They are quite generous at the ankles which is great for me as my ankles are quite chunky, with these they are not tight and don't leave indents. The only thing I found annoying is the seam, I have sensitive feet and I found the seam to be annoying and painful. That said I would not swap them for the world, I highly recommend these warm cosy socks

Nice!
Awesome socks. Got 3 pairs and very happy.Very warm and comfy, slightly too tight on the ankle for anyone with circulation problems (I cut mine slightly). All round very good. I’d definitely get more in the future if needed.

They are warm, but they were quite expensive for how cheap they feel on the inside. The fleece is loose inside and make your feet sweat a little bit. I’m a size 5 UK and they were a little big on the foot and thick on the leg, but they lack structural integrity. I think they’ll be saggy with four or five washes. But they are warm.

Poor Quality
These socks were a gift for my partner at Christmas. 2 months later 2 pairs were returned and refunded due holes in the large toe and little toe area. Unfortunately the last pair have now got a hole under the big toe. I won't be getting a refund for them as the return option has now expired. These socks feel quality and certainly keep your feet warm, however quality they are not, 2 - 3 months wear from socks which cost at least £10 a pair is not good value for money in my opinion.

Not for women
Too tight round the ankles so had to give them to my husband, as men have thinner ankles I reckon. Don't think he's worn them as they're a bit of a girlie colour. Charity bag jobbie
