Excellent,love George Michael his music.

I have always been a Wham! fan and always will be. This is the first time I have listened to any of Georges' solo stuff, to be honest I have never really liked his solo stuff, to me it seemed like he drastically changed the way he did everything musically after Wham! And I didn't like it at all, but I thought I would give it a go, yes after all this time!No this CD isn't Wham! And I'm sure no matter how much I'd like George to do a bit of Wham! again and I'm sure other Wham! fans out there would like it too, it's not going to happen.I do like some of the songs on this album, Patience, Amazing, My Mother Had A Brother (addressing the suicide of Georges' uncle), Through.Some of the songs seem to be a bit personal, inspired work and also centered around everyday life, including politics, which is a good thing.You listen to this CD and you can imagine being at a club with these songs playing, although I would have liked it if I didn't feel like that with every song.George sings each song perfectly and beautifully and I will give it more listens.

Fabulous - I am a massive George fan anyway

I bought this album on day of release ( back in 2004 ) and it is without doubt George Michael's finest release to date.Just the right mixture of ballads and uptempo numbers, lyrically as good as ever, and the best production i've heard in a long time. Easily, in my top 10 alnums of all time. ( it's as fresh today, as it was 8 years ago )Looking forward to George's new single release next month, " White Light "...can we have a new album release soon, please !!

George Michael.. an Icon of our time who searched for perfection against all odds; with the hatefull paparazzi bird droppings always on his shoulder.. on his shoulder (not ours; who enjoyed the sun and scandal)... he made and built his legacy as a wonderful and memorable musician.This is one of his best albums.Now we miss the genius!You will never hear anything like this in your lifetime again!!

Great artist sadly missed, have collected all his works since his death, every song is a lasting reminder to a hugely talented man. I only hope he knew how much pleasure he gave & continues to give through his music legacy. Thank you for the Music George xx

I bought this album before and lost it so took the opportunity to buy it again at a good price.I know this is not to every George Michael fans taste but I think the faster paced tunes are amongst his best. Let's face it, GM could make any song sound great and he doesn't disappoint with this album. Give it a try.

Beautiful music. Just love it. Purchased 2 - one for each auto. Love it. What an incredible artist. Under-rated.

AH ... Cette voix incomparable et reconnaissable !!! Cet album contient des pétites, comme les géniaux : Amazing, Précious Box, Shoot the dog et Flawless. Des morceaux plus intimistes, comme : my mother had a brother, Américan angel ou encore John and Elvis are dead.Alternance tour à tour de bonne balade/slow et chanson dance !!!Globalement encore un bon disque de George Michael, la " patience " est à la Hauteur.
