Vive Thigh & Hamstring Compression Sleeve Brace for Men & Women (2 Pack)

I purchased this with some trepidation - it had negative reviews like all the other thigh braces. I've been experiencing some pain along the back of my thigh from my knee to my hip - I was thinking some tendonitis. I'm in training for a trip in January, so was hoping the brace might allow me to continue training without further injury. Opening the package, I found a note saying to air it out for 8 hours before use. I ignored the warning, put the brace on and headed out for a half mile dog walk. It wasn't 100' before the brace slipped down off my thigh and wound up around my ankle. I was thinking about how I was going to package it up to send it back. Then I thought maybe I just needed to cinch it tighter. That worked!! It stayed in place. The next morning was the first real test - I put it on, cinching it tightly, and off I went for a 5 mile fast hike in the hills. The brace didn't move at all, and I felt some warmth underneath it, but experienced no pain. The brace was doing it's job!! By the way, it was perfectly comfortable with nothing underneath it. I got sweaty - it was warm. The big surprise came when I took the brace off, and it was soaked in sweat - I never knew. But my leg was fine, and I had no pain. I tried it again the next day with the same result. It's a keeper!!! In fact, I'm going out now to an event where I'll walk at least a couple miles and the brace is on. I recommend this product highly!

I’ve only had a wrap one day but from the time I put it on it totally relieved the pain in my upper thigh/groin. The Velko straps stayed secure and the wrap never moved. I could not be happier.

I’ve tried other braces/wraps. So far this one by Vive is the best. It took me a couple of times to get how to wrap my thigh. Now, it’s a snap to wrap my thigh. I’ve washed the wrap a couple of times, no problems. I hang dry it. It’s a little bulky, but I adjusted to wearing it.

I bought this brace because I had pulled a muscle in my thigh. It worked well for me. I wore it both under clothing and on top of jeans. It relieved the pain and I only used it for about two weeks. If I put it on snugly it stayed in place./

While this seems like a good idea, I'm having a hard time getting this thigh brace to stay in place. It's okay if I'm sitting down and working in a chair, but when I get up to walk around, often as not, it's sliding down to my ankle. Not ideal. One doesn't want to tighten it too much, especially when sitting. It's made as a giant rectangle, which makes it reversible for either leg. However, not having any intrinsic tapering makes it difficult to get it secure on the thigh / hamstring area and have it stay there. At the same time that I ordered this brace, I also ordered a sleeve type that just pulls up and stays without having to adjust straps. That sleeve has been easier to manage, and isn't as bulky as this wrap. This one also doesn't breathe very well, creating a sweaty feeling after wearing. It does provide good support, if you can get it positioned correctly. This style isn't one that I'll be reordering.

It's very comfortable, and it has good thigh support. It doesn't slip down, either. Note: there is only one size, and it fits thighs that are 17"-25" inches, so measure your thighs before you order this. Get something else if your thighs don't fit that range. It can be a bit cumbersome to put on, but each kind of brace, like for thighs or knees, has its own issues with that, although I think knee braces are a bit easier. I also bought a set of leg compression sleeves. Most thigh and knee braces have velcro straps, which could mess up your clothes or be uncomfortable on a bare leg. But this is a good value if your thighs fit.

No it’s not perfect. It occasionally slips down (although frankly this has more to do with the flexibility of my leggings than the brace itself. But this is SO MUCH BETTER than those sleeves they sell. Sleeves are just not tight enough to do anything and they are entirely unsuited for the female thigh, which can vary in diameter quite a bit between the knee and butt. This brace has two Velcro pieces that allow you to make the lower brace tight on a smaller diameter than the upper part of the brace. The biggest problem I’ve run into is that when you tighten it enough to relieveiate the pain on the hamstring, the thigh is constrained and gets sore running long distances. I have addressed this problem by alternating a few miles on with the brace and a few miles off. When I get home, it is perfect for wrapping around ice to hold to the hamstring. As for slippage, it only seems to slip when my leggings are slipping down too. When I wear my most favorite perfect fit leggings that don’t slip, neither does the brace. It’s longer than other hamstring braces I’ve used which I like. There’s no way I could comfortably wear it with shorts. But thankfully it’s winter and I’m content with the leggings. Don’t let a hamstring injury old you back. Warmup, stretch, wear this, ice, stretch, and roll. You’ll be glad you did.

Fits well. Easy to get on and off. A bit heavy causing some sweating though. Still going to use this as it's helping my thigh muscles quite well.

Arrive next day and is excellent. I had a thigh tweak and this has got me through the pain. I play tennis 6 times a week and was able to keep playing thanks to this. I have read other reviews and I find that this stays in place perfectly. The interior surface ensures good placement as indeed does the facility to adjust the tension with the two straps. I am going to buy another as a spare.

Gave instant relief for painful hamstring tear. Would be 5 stars but if wearing jeans and walk the strap slides down. Loose fitting trousers no problem.

I don't write many reviews but this product needed one. I was unsure as the reviews on similar products, including this one, were so varied. But I cannot fault it. The straps are incredibly strong and you won't have any issues of it falling it down. Extremely quick delivery too.
