Preacher consistently wows. The first half of this primarily focuses on the story of the Saint of Killers, and the artwork is amazing, surpassing anything you've seen so far in this series.

If you have read volume 1 & 2 then reading this is a no brainier...Wonderful stuff!

Book three of a six volume series. Originally got into the AMC TV series & gave the graphics novels a read & equally enjoyed them if not more then the TV series itself.

My daughter had the previous ones so was pleased when I gave this as a present.

I can't recommend this series highly enough. Great character development, gritty storyline and some outstanding artwork. This will not disappoint.

Good value

I loved this volume personally. I loved the back stories it went into and the depth with which they did. I like where they decided to start this volume after the events of the last and the way it ended. And all these things that are going to come to a head. Great to see one of my favorite characters back in this after a bit, don't wanna give anything away. I enjoyed the story very much. The writing is GREAT as usual or so far in this series, the art is amazing I love how they draw this and then show you the art in-between the issues and how real and great that looks too. I'm just so glad I decided to read volume 1 and fell in love with it. And I have NOT read THE BOYS by the same author BUT I have seen some of the series and where in THE BOYS (tv series not comic which I have NOT read), I find sometimes the absurdity which is always funny in THE BOYS is sometimes absurd for no reason and it kinda seems like they use it to make up for things sometimes where in PREACHER the absurd is part of it and it fits into the story not stuck in for the sake of it. It's hard to explain, and I do like the tv show or what I've seen of it, but for me ill take the comic PREACHER over the tv show for THE BOYS any day. Not having read THE BOYS I don't wanna say that I'd take PREACHER over THE BOYS before reading THE BOYS. But PREACHER has been a breath of fresh air injected at a time when looking for something more and so happy I found it. Can't wait to start book 4!!!!

Preacher is one of the best comic series I've read so far. This paperback is a great value for money.

I love Preacher, great story, great art and the characters are written so well its easy to empathise with them and become deeply engrossed in the book. This book is a good buy if you don't already have the included issues.Great Preacher Collection

Fun loving series returns with a dark gripping backstory of the Saint of Killers. Which adds very dark and gore to the most appropriate time for the character, we also get a spotlight for my favourite character Cassidy where he isn't the only vampire. I wish those two separate stories weren't the main focus for the book. Overall it is an interesting outlook into the Saints life.
