Bungo Stray Dogs, Vol. 1: Volume 1

Beautiful artwork and authentic manga style – my daughter loves it! I ordered this comic book for my teenage daughter, and we’re both very happy with the purchase. The artwork is detailed and high-quality, and it truly captures the authentic feel of traditional Japanese manga, even though it’s a Chinese version. The style, layout, and overall presentation were exactly what I was hoping for. It’s clear that a lot of care went into the illustrations, and the book feels professionally made. My daughter absolutely loves it — a great addition to her growing manga collection! Highly recommended for any manga fan looking for something fresh but still true to the genre’s aesthetic.

Love this book so much, had my mama buy the other 3 volumes. had to stop reading it 2 times though but other than that an amazing book and I would recommend it to other people

Think I’m late starting this series! So I’ll keep this short. Cool art, plot moved well, characters had me laughing, caring and wanting to know more about them. This first volume revolves round the three bigger characters on the cover, I want to find out more about the three smaller! Which will hopefully happen in volume two because I’m going to purchase it! I liked the story and the atmosphere, quite dark but with some good humour thrown inbetween. I don’t do many five star ratings, but this is up there with Noragami quality for me so, well done and looking forward to reading more.

My granddaughter says this is the best book ever! She is now collecting the whole series.

I liked that it's from one of my favourite anime 'Bungo Stray Dogs'. And I absolutely can't wait to read this as it's my up most favourite and I also can't wait to see how much it differs from the anime.

Love this series, so pre-ordered the 1st book when I saw it was being translated to English. Definitely planning to get the rest of the books as they are released. The book came in a timely fashion, but I wasn't in a huge hurry to receive it. Overall, I'd recommend this series. I'd say the story has themes of mystery, action, comedy, and a splash of "magic" that isn't too in your face. The characters are named after real life authors (don't expect them to look the same) and their abilities and stories take from the real author's lives and literary works. It's a great series that somewhat makes you want to go and read the works of the authors that the characters are named after. It's a great day when a series inspires you to go out and read and learn more.
