I own a lot of belts such as these and wear them on a daily basis. Sometimes I wear them under clothing for a streamlined effect without the extremity or discomfort of a corset. I thought this would be ideal for that purpose, as at 8 inches it is wider than most. Unfortunately this belt just isn't up to the job. A good cinch belt needs strong elastic. As soon as I opened the packet I could tell that the elastic was not up to the job. It is just not firm enough. It took me a while to do up the flimsy clasps as the female part is so small that the male part has to be in exactly the right place. The clasps are stronger and easier to do up on other belts that I own. I was very disappointed to find that despite ordering the smallest size, there was a ridge of loose elastic around my middle which no amount of adjusting would remove. Despite this, I continued to wear throughout the day to see how it would hold up. By the end of the day, the pu section (where the clasps attach) was very creased. This indicates to me that the product will not stand up to daily wear for long before it breaks.

it might be that it needs some softening, but i struggle to fasten this as a size 16-18 (it does fasten but with lots of pulling!) despite buying the 18-20 size. or it might be that i'm short, and so my waist is short too and half of it lands on my stomach! i have similar belts that stretched easier after wear and washes so i'm really hoping this will do the same because it's lovely and looks great with my rockabilly shirts and skirts.

the belt does what it says on the tin. I have not given it 5 because it was too tight. My fault not the belt,s.The seller however deserves a 10- next day delivery. Brilliant !!!Would reccommend it to size 14 or less.

Really good, tighten at the right places and delivery is amazingly fast! Would preferred that the buckles were smaller (similar to a bra strap) so that is why not 5*, otherwise it is perfect. Thanks

I'm normally a size 12, but ordered the L, based on the other reviews, and I'm glad I did, since it's a bit tight. It is essentially an elasticated belt, so don't expect an underbust/corset as such.

It's lovely though I should have anticipated size and got one size up to my size.I'm aiming to loose weight soon it will fit fi email eventually
